He knew that his own family would likely see it as a proof of the Khajiit having rash intelligence. Though, it seemed like it was part of a wider experience that Irenya was having in their travels. Fendros wasn't exactly sure how to react. He didn't know whether he should comfort Irenya, or say something, or do nothing. He took a pause to glance around while he thought. After a swallow, Fendros started out with words that didn't have a clear direction. "I see. So, you did not expect to be treated with kindness? It sounds like you have been kind in treating people this entire time, it doesn't surprise me that it would be reciprocated." With how tense Irenya looked, it seemed as if she was on the verge of weeping. Fendros craned his head sympathetically. "Are you alright, Irenya?"
