Personality: [color=#9369E7]Brash and firey, Maya is not one for thinking or patience. She's known to jump into problems headfirst, with little regard for her own safety, or even her own safety. She's somewhat self-centered and rude, and does not care much for the problems of others. However, what she lacks in friendliness and smarts she makes up in loyalty. She's fierce when it comes to her friends, and often has a big sister instinct for those on her team, especially those who are smaller or younger. 

Despite her fierce personality, however, Maya is also a person of many fears and paranoia. She's even somewhat distrusting, and it's hard to get into her circle. (However, if you do manage to, expect to be smothered.) She's notably afraid of a lot of things, including most loud noises and many animals and insects. She's not one to necessarily run from her fears, though. When faced with something she's afraid of, her bravado and douchiness increases tenfold, and she usually tries to fist fight her fears.[/color]

Short Bio: [color=#9369E7]Born to a higher class family, Maya suffered from extreme agoraphobia and anxiety. Because of this, she was emotionally and socially stunted, and at the age of 8, was sent to a small school in order to get her out of her shell. However, this only made things worse, as the teachers and students were incredibly abusive to the young girl. At one point, a group of bullies locked her in a closet for several hours, before a teacher found her. After this, she went further and further into her shell, and developed an extreme fear of the dark.

Distraught, her parents sent her to live with an aunt in the inner city. Finally, she had found her niche, perhaps a little bit too well. Drunk on freedom, she started to go wild, causing havoc and chaos all over. Unsure of what to do, especially considering the hefty fines she was racking up, they sent he to Akatsuki Academy, in the vain hope to teach her some discipline.[/color]

Manifestation: [color=#9369E7][b]Bombs Away:[/b] Maya can create small base-ball sized bombs created of shadow. When thrown, they explode, and leave a toxic goo all over the place. It does not last long in the light, but if left alone too long in the shadow, it can start to grow and become dangerous.[/color]

Weapons: [color=#9369E7]She has an aluminum baseball bat, which is pink and purple. If charged with flux, it creates several small spikes of shadow, which shoot out of the bat. They either can be used like nails in the bat, or can be fired out to cause damage.[/color]

Equipment: [color=#9369E7]She's somewhat over prepared, and carries around a bag with several items in it. She has a medical kit, a sewing kit, a small gas stove, matches, a fluxlight (geddit? its like a flashlight), and a mini fire extinguisher. [/color]

[color=Cornflowerblue]Soft-spoken and shy, Cain is the epitome of a nice young man. He's very brave, and definitely loyal, but he's also not the smartest of people. What he lacks in intelligence, though, he makes up with his gentle and kind attitude. He loves animals and nature, and lots and lots of things. Yet, there is a darker side to him. Due to his past and just his general nature, he's prone to fits of anger and violence. He tends to get more serious and very very touchy when in a combat situation, so it is best to not bother him. He's very apologetic afterwards, however.[/color]

[color=Cornflowerblue]Born into a completely normal life, Cain's life changed when he was kidnapped at the age of 9. His captors raised him and trained him to fight, usually through rather brutal and violent methods. Cain spent several years in captivity, killing and fighting his way to the top of the ranks. Despite being known for his brutal nature, he was still soft at heart, and felt great shame at what he had done. Finally, after 7 years of being a fighter, Cain led a rebellion against his captors and escaped. He was later taken in by a nice, older family, who treated him like a son. He has lived with them since the event, and has only recently left in the hopes of finding a purpose in life through Akatsuki.[/color]
