Wait until the metal thing moved further in, and then oh-so skillfully and quietly slip its long tail out and use the tip to deftly flick a skull past the metal thing's hindquarters. The clatter on the other side would draw attention, perhaps but for a fraction of a second, but that was all the monster needed... The brutal silence could make one jumpy...[/i]
