"What the blazes?!" Dren let go of his hand and was sent stumbling forward, striking his cane into the ground to steady himself as the ship began to become unsteady, feeling his balance vanish under his feet as the massive vessel plummeted. Not something he could say he was used to, nor was he prepared for it. The crash knocked him off his feet and sent him tumbling as he became a red rolled up blur of a man, flying into the air. He probably woud've broken several bones had he not still been clasping his cane, using the mage to teleport and d avoid trees, still hitting the ground and landing in a small grove of trees, hat gone from his head and cloak blown open from the trip. He was dazed for a while before he finally began to recover, getting to his feet and brushing himself down, getting leaves twigs and mud off of his attire. Now he took the time to look around... he was alone, as far as he could tell. None of those others from the ship could be seen around him... perhaps this was his chance to get back to civilization and end this nonsense... but... wait, something felt wrong. Dren's eyes became wide as saucers as he patted his head. "MY HAT!" he shouted in dismay, quickly scanning the area for it and looking around, zipping from place to place as he scoured for it. Finally, he spotted it atop a branch on a spikey tree. He rapped on the trunk twice with his cane as his hat sailed back down, replacing the garment upon his head. He sighed with relief as he felt at peace again... "Now then, onward, to civilization." he said stoutheartedly, holding his cane in one hand as he produly marched into the woods beyond.
