For Dex she has military-grade training in combat, she's decent and can hold her own but not any kind of expert. I've stated before she has a [i]mean[/i] left hook. Bzzt bzzt. But seriously, she's not a highly skilled fighter by any means, all her experience lies within piloting and infiltration whereas for both the less action you saw the better. 

She owns a shotgun in case they get too close and a sniper rifle to make sure they don't get too close.
