And the best bit of advice I can give is perseverance; most games that get plotted die, especially 1x1s, and it's sad and awful, but it's just the nature of the beast. If someone disappears two posts into a game you're really enjoying, don't take it personally. Keep at it; pitch the idea again, find a new writing buddy, and have crazy misadventures.
