[@Dynamo Frokane]How about either of your characters, against Vaan? His powers include: Superhuman strength, powerful wind magic, and extremely loud & obnoxious shouting. He also has wings, but one of them is badly charred, thus he can't sustain his flight. (It gives him an extra couple mid-air jumps.)

I'm also willing to dull a character's strengths to be more fitting.
