"As soon as we get to where we will meet the other beginning girls. Now come along quickly."  Viollca spoke as she turned and walked away.

For several hours,  Viollca drilled the young girls in stretches, how to bend, sway like trees and lastly a few move steps. Then it was a break for lunch of cheese and bread with apples for dessert. The next three hours consisted of memorizing what was called The Beginner's Dance. it was also known as The Swaying Trees.

Meanwhile, Noreene was very bored with all of this marriage talk. What each bride should wear, the flowers, the vows and so on and so forth right down to the wedding feast and dancing. Noreene was too tired and grumpy because she had to write out what was needed for each bride because Caroline couldn't write well enough to keep up with the women folk. Tomorrow they would order the food and tell florist what to make. She had to tell  Viollca what dances were wanted yet before supper.
