Giovanni was quickly bored with playing Private Eye. With any luck captain Viole would be told that Gio was’ snooping around’ and would probably send for him. Or come find him himself. Either worked actually, considering he got no information what so ever; seemed like there was none to be found. So he left Squad four and made his way toward squad ten. It was the only squad he knew that a friend was a part of. As he walked he pondered the structure of the military. 

[i] if there are three branches under central 46 they should have at one point been equal. The 13 squads, the stealth force, and the kido corps. But the kido corps quickly became super secret and barely seen. Centuries later the stealth force was integrated with the 13 squads, with squad 2 specifically. That gave the squads a majority of the power. A system that was probably designed to balance itself out was out of balance. But inhabited by people who are tasked with keeping the balance. Oh the irony.[/i] 
Gio got an idea and turned around and broke into a run toward the squad 1 building. The head captain was privileged to sensitive information so gio would be able to speak candidly about the kido corps. And perhaps some things would be cleared up. But there was something else Gio could ask him, if granted permission. As soon as he got there he requested an audience with the head captain
