Kyre would be the worst opponent for any other god in a straight up fight. Any volunteers to test this?
A day or two ago I was in a PM conversation and made my own arbitrary ranking for how I think each of the gods will do in a fight. I suppose I'll share it here to see what the rest of you think of it.
[My order of physical prowess for the gods might go as follows: 1. Kyre. Being god of war and master of combat, he could defeat most everyone else. The one exception to this might be Zephyrion, since a battle with him is probably more akin to just hurling destructive power at one another. 2. Zephyrion. It's kind of hard to fight a living storm that has such a primal and destructive domain as Change and can somewhat bend physics itself to his whims. While it's not as much of an advantage now, due to his quarrelsome nature Zephyrion will probably end up having more experience fighting than most of the others... 3. Logos. He nullifies the advantage that Zephyrion has and could probably be an equal in that battle, but in most other matchups I don't think he'd fare as well as Kyre or Zephyrion would. 4. Reathos. Being god of death and all, if he comes for you then it's probably not very good. 5. Vowzra. Time being crazy and all, he could foresee the fight itself, foresee the enemy's action, and then foresee himself dumping them into the Hells of time. :lol 6. Vestec. Chaos and corruption might not carry the sheer brute force of some of the other gods, but their sole purpose is to destroy and negatively affect others. Especially if you add the portfolio of violence like last time, Vestec will be one of the scary guys. 7. The Adversary is similar to Astarte, but probably a tad stronger since his magic has a darker and more harmful side to it. 8. Astarte is probably next since her magic could prove dangerous. She also has a unique advantage over Zephyrion in that magic is more likely to beat him than any physical means that the other gods might employ. 9. Here I put Teknall and Niciel at a tie. Neither are that aggressive or combat oriented, but both still have some degree of prowess. 10. Below average, I'd say here is where Bulruac would be. She has magic but it's nowhere near as general or combat oriented as Astarte's or Mammon's. 11. Toun is probably a little on the weaker side too. He seems more of an inventor than a fighter. 12. Jvar and Illunbar come here, being some of the weakest since they are most certainly not fighter types or in possession of any unique powers that would be useful in battle. 13. Slough is weakest of them all since she's mindless and would probably just flee. I don't rank Ull'Yang because I'm not quite sure where he fits into all of this. The slippery and tricky ones like Daegon, Julkolfyr, and Vakarlon wouldn't make sense on the list as direct combat isn't their style. Hmm, think I should share my opinions here on the OOC?
Hmm. I wonder if I forgot anyone on that list.
