Thing is, they're sorta... limited in what they can do. Hornet guy (Or anyone really) can just have them go for eyes or do stuff from a slasher flick with them, kidney shots are pretty bad too. dunno if material guy can use composite materials or only single ones, but getting ahold of say a sapphire or diamond should be laughably easy. Dunno what your talking about with the flyer trick. Doing any of this stuff makes fights a lot, lot easier, and thats not even going for straight up lethal.

Though tbh its not all their fault too, the source material is very bad at this too. Law can deal internal damage and is a doctor, AND gets the opportunity to do said internal damage to Doffy, yet doesn't sever his aeorta or turn his heart to ribbons? The only time I saw the show do anything super smart was Skypeia with that guy who used a combination of a super dial and sea prism stone to kill the lightning guy, who also smartly defibrillated his own heart.
