"How close is the pack?" asked Dwalin as the hobbit re-joined the company.
"Too close!" gasped a distressed Bilbo as he waved his hands back in the direction he had come from. "A couple of leagues, no more! But we have another problem-" but before he could tell them about the creature, he was interrupted by the members of the company.
"Did they see you?!" asked Gandalf, alarmed when Bilbo didn't answer no immediately. "They saw you?!"
"No, will you just--"

The wizard sighed in relief.
"See, what did I tell you, quiet as a mouse! Perfect burglar material!"
"Would you just [i]LISTEN[/i]?!" shouted Bilbo above all of their voices, finally getting their attention. "I'm trying to tell you there's something else out there!!" the hobbit pointed back towards where he had seen the creature again.
