[@SavOrhchid] What makes the Guild a little special is that it isn't categorised in the RP themes; like Fantasy, School, or Sci-Fi; but more the type of writing style. Free (Speed posting), Casual (Average quality and most common) or Advanced (Longer post with high quality). This means that it contains a lot of variety with themes and genres. One RP I entered was a Steampunk/Cyberpunk RP with pirate fights on a flying ship... Not the sort of thing that is easy to categorise in a genre, but easy to categorise in the type of writing style that you will be after. If you were thinking about starting up an RP, I would perhaps hold off for a short while and maybe wait and see what the interest checks have to offer. The Interest Checks are more like bulletin boards that advertise what's new and upcoming in the available RPs. I recently waited 3 weeks to find a cyberpunk RP that I was happy with and we are now under way with some REALLY good posting, so I'm happy... but sometimes you have to be a little patient. Not only that, but joining an RP will at least get your name out there so when it comes to making an RP you may get a better response as people will know who you are (Again, that's only a suggestion but plenty of people start RPs early on in their membership and do get some good results) The thing to remember is that the forum is very active even when it seems quiet. There's always little conversations going on, plenty of people willing to jump in on general and roleplay discussion topics, and a chatbox if you want to see what the others are up to. If you have any questions there is always someone willing to help.
