(Meanwhile) “They got some interesting contestants,” a guardsman had commented. He eyed the unconscious participants through the caged rooms. He proceeded to stick his head a little closer to the barred window and took off his gas mask for a better look; immediately, he made a disgusted face and coughed to the side. He placed his mask back on and began taking deep breaths. “I wouldn’t do that again. That shit is guaranteed to knock anything out,” another guardsman commented. He had been pushing a crate full of items. He looked through the window the best he could through his gas mask. “They’ll luckily stay like that for a while.” “I almost got the wind knocked out of me!” The other guardsman breathed heavily. He began speaking calmly once he began getting control of his breathing. “Isn’t this a little inhumane?” “I don’t see a problem with it. With the prizes the winners receive, I’ll gladly be okay with participating." He stopped near the door, opening it with just a creak, he began unloading the items for the battle. “What are those?” “These are just the weapons of these particular contestants, two black winter jackets, and one white winter jacket,” the guardsman answered as he threw the items through the crack of the door. He shut the door. “This one is ready for launch. The other two still need their items.”
