Juniper smiled at the two girls, especially the Youkai whom she only now realised she had completely ignored.

[color=f49ac2]"Juniper Finlay, ex-slave. Pleasure to meetcha!"[/color] she said, extending her branded hand. This was so exciting! A real, life Youkai that wasn't trying to eat her! She had so many questions, so many things to say! What was it like? What could she do? Was it really that different from being human?What was her family like? What did she eat?
She held her tongue, however, as there was the overwhelming sense that both Red and the Youkai would prefer silence. So rather than do what she'd like to do and launch into a thousand and one questions, she very quietly sat down and pulled her pack off her back. She pulled out her sleeping bag and jammies, lay the sleeping bag on the ground and rather shamelessly threw her dress off to get changed into her PJs.

[color=f49ac2]"Hey, Red, Yuki. If you get tired, just crawl in."[/color] she told her new friends, before sliding under herself. She didn't feel tired, but she needed her rest. Besides, it wasn't like she was doing anything else that day. It didn't take long before she was snoozing quietly between Red and Yuki.

[b]About 2:00 AM[/b]

Juniper awoke to the gentle shaking from Kurenai. Almost instantly, her eyes were bright and open, and she dragged herself out the sleeping bag with little fuss.
[color=f49ac2]"Morning, Red ~ ♪! Morning, Yuki ~ ♪!"[/color] she sang out merrily. She was keen to get moving and the sooner they got there, the sooner the adventure would begin. [color=f49ac2]"You two want something to eat?"[/color] 
She reached into her bag and retrieved a few rolls of brioche. Breakfast was one of the most important meals of the day, after all, and they needed to keep their energy up if they were going exploring.
Biting into one of the sweet rolls, she also reclaimed a few other things from her bag, namely a chestplate, armguards and several FLUX containers of different varieties. She then strapped on her armour over her jammies, loaded up the Warpick with FLUX and wrapped up her sleeping bag. By the time she had done all this, both Red and Yuki had vanished from her sight.

You would have thought following Little Red Riding Hood and an ox-demon would have been easy! She ended up trailing at the back, looking around for someone - [i]anyone[/i] - who looked familiar. But she had only been with those two and the sassy blonde guy, and she couldn't see any of them.
She did see someone who looked familiar though. She recognised him as the guy that Gaz had almost beat up yesterday, the other blonde guy. Though she hand heard him speak, if he was getting in a confrontation with Sandwich Guy, he must have been at least as cheeky as he was. Never one to be shy, she bounced over to him and introduced herself.
[color=f49ac2]"Hello! You know that guy, the blonde one, who you were about to beat up yesterday?"[/color] Oh boy, was this fella in for a treat. Once Juniper started talking, she could go on a while unless she was stopped. [color=f49ac2]"The one who was talking about sandwiches yesterday. Have you seen him at all? I'm kinda looking for him, because he's the only person I really know and I've only just come here and I'd like to talk to people, but Red and Yuki have vanished and I can't see them, and Sandwich dude was the only other one I spoke to that day, and I really don't want to be on my own cause then I have no-one to talk to and then I'll get bored and I can't just keep walking for an hour straight and not talk to anyone, but it's not like down the mines where you can just whistle and sing, cause everyone's so serious here and I though that you looked a little more approachable, and I really want to just talk to [i]someone[/i] and I was hoping that you could point me in that other guy's direction because I have no idea where he is and he's really the only other person I can talk to, unless you know where Red and Yuki are since they left way before us. So, uh, do you mind if I talk to you for a bit, just until I can find Red and Yuki, or the blonde guy again."[/color]
All this was said in one breath, I hasten to add. She took a single sharp breath, then spoke again
[color=f49ac2]"Oh! My names Juniper, by the way. It's good to meet you!"[/color]
