Stoic, proud to the point of arrogance. Strict, but fair. He believes that honour, justice and family are all-important. But sometimes his duty conflicts with his love and he must make sacrifices. He has a strong sense of morality.

He was originally the middle brother of three, and only inherited a small city in the Dragon Mountains whilst his elder brother inherited everything. But after being treated cruelly by his brother, who rules greedily and badly, he and his younger brother rebelled against him and defeated him. They would have ruled jointly thereafter, but his younger brother died of illness. Edwin's enemies accuse him of his younger brother's murder, but those close to Edwin know that he would never have done that, and never even had the opportunity to as his brother was on a different front during the war.[/center]
