Liana ran her fingers lightly over her left wrist. She couldn’t really feel the sensation like she normally can, it was a strange feeling. Instead of warm skin at her fingertips, there was a cooler latex. She held both wrists out in front of her, they looked the same. It felt as if a load had been lifted off her shoulders. No destiny, no potential disaster, just whatever she decided for herself. It was unfortunate that it was only for the production she was in. The lady who had done her makeup did a really good job of hiding the name and date on her wrist. A feminine voice called out to the distracted girl. “Liana, they need you for the next scene!” It was her manager, Mrs. Marian. An older, sometimes strict woman poked her head around the corner of the dressing room. “I’m coming,” She called out, standing up to rush out the door. When she exited her small quiet room, she was hit with a wall of sound and bustling about. Mrs. Marian grabbed the girl’s hand and lead her around the maze of hallways and into a green screen room. There was a group of people huddled around, discussing something or another. A couple better known actors stood around the room, some interacting with each other or memorizing their script. This was the largest production she’d been on yet. It was exciting and new. She already had her lines memorized since she’d only has a few, so she was free to talk to the other actors until they were ready to shoot. Immediately, she went to find the people she interacted with on screen. She exchanged some words about what they would do and how they will respond. Then things would usually take a more upbeat, friendly turn. When time came for the cameras to actually start rolling, Liana got really into her character. She was only in the movie of one scene before her character died, but she wanted to do it as best as she could. She didn’t let the better known people intimidate her, instead she connected with then. The shoot was almost too short, but then again, her stomach said otherwise. Since Mrs. Marian had to do a bit more paperwork, Liana decided to go get food on her own. She wandered the city looking for a good place to eat. Nothing fancy or expensive, but not exactly fast food.
