Riley would wonder for a moment why Ellie thanked her for coming along with her, perhaps Ellie was just as alone as she was, although Riley did tend to keep most of her sadness hiden from the view of others. Bringing herself up to stand and setting the empty can of beans down on the dusty wooden flooring, she'd wander over towards her backpack, zipping it up and pulling it over her shoulders, looking over towards Ellie as she'd talk about an alternative way of getting to Vegas. She'd stop for a moment in thought, thinking that perhaps jumping onto a train would be a lot easier than being with their potential driver for more time than was needed, however jumping trains was considered illegal and being caught would bring some serious consequences, as well as being returned to her parents, however, Riley thought that perhaps it was time that she leaped forward and took a brave step. "Uhm, Yeah sure we could do that I suppose.. If we get lucky there might be a train there that we could jump onto.. M.. Meanwhile let's just try and get a ride, there is an old motel, diner and truck stop in Baker not too far from here, maybe someone in the diner could give us a lift?" She'd ask with a gentle tilt of her head, hoping that Ellie could perhaps be more useful than herself.
