"You're going for it too, Taka?" Grinning back, Ranca lightly punched the ponytailed girl's shoulder.  Sure, she seemed a bit serious, but somehow she could tell they were both kindred spirits in a way.  "Awesome!  Let's get go- huh?"

She had barely noticed it at first, but Ranca eventually noticed that something was tugging on her top.  Well, some[i]one[/i] actually, as when she turned to look she saw... Wasn't that the guy that joined them whilst they were running away earlier?  Poor kid looked pretty spooked, which kind of made sense really.  I mean, someone like him ending up in a place like here?  The only real way to react to that would be to either become a quivering mess or try and mask your fear and unease with overwhelming bluster and bravado.

"Sure thing, kid!" Her grin not fading for one instant, Ranca found herself compelled to ruffle the little guy's hair playfully.  "...I don't think I caught your name, though, and I can't really keep calling you "kid" can I?" The girl in the dino-hood laughed heartily.  "So what's your name?  I'm Ranca Blom, but I think you heard that already!"
