Yo, PSA: nobody thinks Lex is a bad dude at this point. Sure, he has some less than savoury clients but LexCorp is one of the biggest companies in the world, it's unavoidable. Up until this very moment all Lex has done is spend hundreds of millions forming a super team (the Justice League of America) and helped saved lives. As far as the world is concerned he's a saint.

Only a few people, Superman, Lois Lane and [i]maybe[/i] underground Nick Fury, think there's anything untoward going on there. So if you're planning on being on the Justice League, don't meta-game and treat Lex with suspicion.
