Vanessa laughed about what Xaven said and shook her head amused. ''I didn't show off, I showed how much I love you'' she said. When Ralph left for to get himself something to eat, it felt for Vanessa like something new to her status of Alpha Female opened up. She could feel that Ralph loved to see his friends so happy but actually felt a little lonely.

Five minutes after Ralph had left, Xaven left Vanessa's side and Vanessa didn't know what to do for a second. Drake nodded his head towards the beach. "I'm getting a little cold.. Let's go back'' she said and together with Lesley and Drake, she got out of the water. Lesley dried herself and so did Drake but Vanessa only wrapped the towel around herself and then walked to where Xaven was standing. She smelled the sent and actually used two fingers to close her nose. ''Eeeww.. What is that smell?'' she asked and got the attention of the other Alpha. ''Sweet lord, why did he sent you?'' he asked. ''The lord didn't sent me.. My man needs me'' Vanessa says as she lays her hand on Xaven his arm. She then took a better look at the Alpha. ''I know you..'' she said and right at that moment her unasked question is being answered. ''Johney! Geez why are you here?!'' Cassandra asked. ''My favorite cousin! Also a blessing to see you again'' he said. ''See! I knew that face.. Honey, he is nothing to worry about'' Vanessa said to Xaven. ''He is her cousin, spoiled like f*ck just like his cousin'' Vanessa said and got in front of Xaven so he had to look at her.

''Hey Vanessa, I know a very good doctor for that scar'' Cassandra said, a bit bitchy. ''No thank you, I keep my body the way nature gave it to me and with everything I get during my life'' Vanessa said. ''Vanessa, why do you smell like you are claimed?'' Johney asked, in a whisper that only the wolves would be able to hear. ''Because I am'' Vanessa whispered. ''Let's go home Xaven.. Please?'' Vanessa asked.
