[@Framing A Moose]So. .  . I've got an idea. My character is going to be the son of a Silver-Age villain, named Aphosis, whose powers focused on Chaos and Darkness magic. General idea is that he's somehow connected to your doom(possession, cursed your character, etc.) it's just an idea, but I think it could possibly create an interesting dynamic if that was the case.

As for my Nova, he's going to have a form of Chaos manipulation, but more related to desert, violence, war, and storms, basically the embodiment of the Egyptian god Set. Also, he's going to be an asshole that's closer to a delinquent in actual personality. Very much a 'fuck the police' type guy.
