With several new techniques and machines in farming leading to the increased production of food and produce to support the population, post-war recovery is becoming a steady process. Many men returning from war have successfully secured new jobs in the manufacturing of new consumer goods and produce, which has aided the limping national economy. But despite these recent advancements, only time will tell if the Imperial government can keep up this reconstructive progress in the coming years. With a perceived need to rebuild the armed forces, while maintaining the agreements in military size and technological strength. The Kaiser has recently authorized the construction of new recruitment centers to all major population centers in the Empire of Vornehm. Alongside this, Steinhaeuser Firearms was recently contracted to develop and produce the replacement for their antiquated Gewehr 1910 rifle that had served as the prime service rifle for the Imperial Military. The new Gewehr 1920 bolt-action rifle has begun initial testing and production, with marksmanship and bayonet tests being overseen by representatives from the Victorious Powers to ensure compliance with the Treaty regulations Marksmanship test for the new Gewehr 1920 rifle The Ehrnsdorf Guard, armed with the newer rifles, and wearing the new field uniforms
