Better late than never to mature but Korra still has to prove herself, it's not a slow process by any means. What Lin would prefer would be to have Korra just slow down and focus on her training but that can't be easy once things get complicated even more than they are.

Korra is going to have to accept at some point that for the most part, Asami was an innocent pawn in the plans. And that once Asami did sense something seriously questionable going on, she did try to back out and tell authorities but I recall us planning to have it still go ahead without Asami's consent. Then of course there's the epic battle in question when it's Avatar v Pseudo Avatar v Xano. Hopefully the arc that follows won't be intense so that people can rebuild once again...I feel bad for Republic CIty, man. But there's def going to be some tense situations and secrets floating around but we still have fluff too~ I hope~
