The Đakovician Line was one of the most prominent theaters for Trench Warfare, in The Great Terrible War. This was primarily attributed due to the 'stuck' position of Ostruznica, because they were quite literally surrounded. However, with fate held close to their chests, they managed to effectively cover their borders with men, with their large populace-per-geographical kilometer. Industry shared a similar fortune, as they were able to mass produce SVP-17 Gas Masks, to save their livestock of a populace from gas-filled artillery shells, or others like it. SVP-16 Gas Masks were made out of rubber, and were easily identifiable from a distance with their large, snout-like gas filters. However, they were made for mass produce, and comfortability was not of importance to the contractors. This also implies that SVP-16 Gas Masks did not come in very many sizes neither while they were in mass produce, as this occasionally raised problems for those with slighty-deformed craniums. Despite these flaws, it was a revolutionary work of engineering, and it has saved an unestimateable amount of lives.

As we're sped up to more modern times, Ostružnica is left now with a fragile populace, and are subsequently worshiping 'Heroes' of The Commonwealth, who's actions defy moral explanation. However, in some recent advancements, the public ear has caught a hold of the possible likelyhood of the return of a sprawling automotive industry. With the industrial improvements catching speed, rumors are afloat with a possible overhaul for The Commonwealth's standard-issue rifle, The Dvořáková M1915. Economists estimate a change in administration is unlikely in the coming future, as it would most certainly be burdensome to The Ostružnican Economy. With rising concerns to their populace, it is in the likelyhood that The Commonwealth will attempt to emit neutrality, whilst attempting to cling to a select-number of alliances from The Great Terrible War.
