Rebeca would have had some similar problems to what she had growing up here (she got into a lot of fights). However, when she was a teenager, she would go to a festival, where she would see a troupe of fire dancers. Becoming inspired, she dedicate her energy to this healthier outlet, and eventually become a traveling Battle Dancer. She'd have different Pokemon and a much friendlier, flirtier attitude.
