"Agreed. Lunch first, then we can handle the issues of academics, finances, and... discipline." Serapis went to their quarters, which were attached to a small, private kitchen. He washed his clawed hands and then got some plates out. Then, he took some chicken and vegetables out of a cabinet and prepared to cook them, when he heard a sound coming from the cafeteria. "Is that? Did you? Thayva, I think we're needed downstairs, now!" he got up and quickly ran downstairs. ------------------ Aurelian smiled as he saw the food began to explode in the faces of dozens of students, including the lizardfolk he was arguing with earlier. Greentail scratched himself frantically, trying to get the food out from his scales, largely without success. Jorn ran from the table and ducked under it, covering his head. Laura happened to be next to him. "Glad to see you here, love!" It was harmless flirting, but Jorn felt embarrassed by it. She had to raise her voice to be heard, as did Jorn, who had to shout back at her. "What?! Laura, do you know what is going on here?!" "It's a magic prank! Just enjoy it while it lasts!" As it turned out, that wasn't much longer. Serapis burst into the room and took one look at the situation, his eyes wide. Not only was it a food fight, but it was an unauthorized use of magic! "STOP!!" He waved his right hand, which was surrounded by a light blue aura. Immediately, the magics in the room were neutralized by his counter spell. The once-moving food resumed its original inanimate state. Even so, the damage was done. A huge mess now dominated the room, which was coated in a bizarre mixture of fruit pulp, wet bread, and water mixed in with bits of every kind of meat and vegetable one could imagine. The smell was quite strong already, and it would stink later in the day as the food puree began to rot. "Who is responsible for this?! Did anyone see anything?! Speak!" One of the staff, a female elf, stepped forward. "I think it was a group of children, sir. Some were elves and there may have been a human among them." He let out a sigh. "I-we will deal with this later. Thayva, what's your take on all of this?"
