Knows the words to Bobby Sands poetry (sung to her at night). Her good night stories were Alexander Berkman’s autobiography or Benjamin Franklin’s satirical papers on British rule in the colonies.  She didn’t know that she was also being groomed. It’s only after she’s married by twenty to the current Librarian that she realizes it. After all that talk of independence and revolution, too. The books, the songs, the poetry, it has a whole new meaning. 

Craptastic husband. Everyone knows she’s the one that maintains the reputation of the Librarians. Every new acquisition: that’s all her. But she’ll by her time until he’s killed. With how often he travels into other districts, someone’s gonna be stupid enough to kill him. It won’t be one of the other gangs, though, no they don’t want someone like her in power of such an old gang. But she’s got bigger ideas. She wants everyone to have the independence of thought.

Originally, a group of people wanting to protect information that the government was systematically destroying rather than making it illegal. Marsh’s husband isn’t the first bad Librarian (the leader). Bookies are the members of the gang, but many people just call anyone from 12 Bookies.
