[@Takashi] It could be possible to have something of a water pressure launcher for sacks of [insert potion/poison/etc here] while keeping things fairly well balanced.  After all, a person can only carry a few sacks of high viscosity fluid on them.  It would function more like a very small catapult with special ammo. 

This is just an option, though.
