The Rhythm of Yazai
Neck Deep in S*** Participant: Giovanni
Again, a pause. You could not hear it, but you could guess that whoever you spoke to is consulting with someone. It was obvious from the person's voice it was a kid, does it have an adult there? If so, why is the kid the one speaking to you? While you wait the sound of shouts, screams and roars reach you. Following its origin you look upon a huge, round building which looms from between the numerous towers of Yazai. The Arena. From the few days you’ve spent in this place you realized that it has a very important place in Yazai culture. Long before the Celestial Empire, from the times when Alidan Emperors still ruled Revea with wisdom and justice, the Arena of Yazai attracted combatants from all over the continent. It is there that a slave could become a legend. But the price of failure was steep… You could hear the sound of someone tampering with the warehouse door behind you. The kid from earlier is unlatching the door. In a moment the door slowly open to reveal the face of a boy in his early teens. He eyed you suspiciously. “Come in, fast.” It was the same voice from earlier. Once inside you feel like you strolled into a kindergarten, or at least an elementary school. Kids, for they were all kids no matter how you looked at them, of various ages watched you, their faces openly showing fear and anxiety. They all wore clothes that looked better than what a bunch of street urchins should be able to afford, but they were mismatched and didn’t always fit the size of the child who wore them. Only the boy who let you in looked like he had any self-confidence. He was standing straight- which still made the top of his head barely reach your chest- and looked you directly in the eye. “So, ojii-san, how do you know we have trouble with the other gangs?” He asked, this time managing to hide his fear better. Still, his confident demeanour broke when from the crowd of children came a murmur: “I-idiot! You were not supposed to confirm it!” “S-shut up! Come h-here and you speak if you know better!” He shouted back at the other child before returning his gaze to you, this time his face having a slight tinge of red. "W-well?"

The Exorcist Participants: Sonia, Orion and Dragon Rayo
Closing eyes to calm down just as the pale figure threatening to kill you leaped at you is probably not a good idea. After feeling a slight chill pass through you from your front to the back, you open your eyes and realize that the ghost is no longer in front of you. By pure instinct you turn around but you only have enough time to notice that the ghost is half your size before its pale fist hits you and send you flying right in the direction of the charging luchador. “Our Father, who art in heaven…” reaches your ears as you fall upon his electricity charged fist. It hurt. Like, really hurt. And it wasn’t the electricity, luchador himself was hitting like a mack truck. Still, you survive and you feel like you can still move, somewhat. The ghost itself didn’t continue to press the attack but instead halted and started pulling one of the swords from its body. The painful grunts reached your ears as you watch it pull out the first then the second one. Swords themselves were normal sized katanas, but they looked comically large compared to the small body that intended to wield them. With a roar, the albino figure charged once again.
Qaizan Dungeon Participants: Miyu and Takeyoshi
Once through the neutral-mask passage, you continue on walking down a wide corridor. Both the corridor and the room in which you were teleported to were illuminated by a golden light, making the stone walls of the dungeon look yellowish. The light was coming from the golden orbs attached to the ceiling, reminding you very much of the light bulbs back on Earth. The ceiling was high, but if you flew to inspect the orbs closely you’d notice that your eyes didn’t hurt no matter how close you got to the orbs. However, you could not see what was inside the orbs. It was like they were made out of a glowing golden colour. Aside from the glowing orbs there was nothing else in the corridor, it was devoid of any decorations. It didn’t take you long to reach its end. You estimate its length to be some 50 meters. At the other end was a slab of stone which slowly lowered itself into the ground as you came closer, opening you a way to a new room. This room was rectangular and lacked the teleportation circle, but otherwise it was very similar to the earlier one. You again saw 3 passageways, one on each wall. To your right, the sorrowful mask, in front of you, the expressionless mask and to your left, the joyful mask. Like before, the passages were just square holes in the walls, without any decorations except the masks. You hear the sound of stone grinding against stone behind you and once you turn around you see that the slab of stone is lifting again from the ground in order to close the passage you came from. Above this passageway instead of a mask there was a symbol which was unknown to Miyu but Takeyoshi recognized it from his studies in the library. It was a letter from old imperial script meaning “Teleport”.
