Just an FYI to everyone, part of the piece I'm working on involves Rebeca triggering her Drought ability, the effect of which I described as follows: 

the black markings across her body began to glow a dull red. The temperature in the air began rising rapidly, and in the sky above the sun began to shimmer and waver slightly through the heat waves.


I figured that a sudden change in the weather would be something that everyone would notice.
