The Land of Yar
Charlotte's Willing to Help [@Raineh Daze][@VitaVitaAR][@RoflsMazoy][@Rin]
The address Charlotte gave you was not exactly close to the area of the gate you entered through. It was one of the better parts of the city, the so-called “nobles quarter”. Normally, common people are forbidden from going there unless the matter is absolutely urgent, but Charlotte assured you that the guards only need to see the seal on the message you carry to let you through. Speaking of message, it was given to Mimori, who looked the most mature in the group (Charlotte’s words, not mine!). As you walk through its streets you realize how big Verzales is. I mean, yes, it’s obvious from a distance that the tower it is built on is huge, but the sheer amount of buildings that manage to fit on its terraces give you a new insight on just how large the entire structure is. Still, the buildings are packed so tightly together and the streets are so narrow it makes you wonder how a cart would pass through here. Anyway, the people you see are quite varied. Some are human, but a lot of them are definitely not. There were elves, dwarves, haflings, orcs, goblins, people who looked like a cross between humans and animals, and multitude of other fantastic creatures you’ve never seen before. And nobody found any of them weird. They interacted with each other like it was a completely normal thing, seemingly not paying attention to the odd bits each one possessed. Unfortunately, you were not allowed a peaceful sight-seeing trip to the end. An explosion occurred before you, not doing any damage but covering the entire street with smoke. The street was already packed with people as it was and now things got even more chaotic as the frightened citizen began shoving each other, colliding, screaming, tripping or walking over those who already tripped, all while smoke prevented vision farther than one foot from oneself. Naturally, they were confused at the sudden vigour they felt in their body. Some of them lost the suspicious expression, exchanging it for a look of self-confidence. Thanks to your song these children now think they have a fighting chance. But do they really? Even with power you’ve given them, some training will be necessary for these runts to be able to put up a fight against the rival gangs. Thus, you set out to get the children somewhat into shape… Some time later It was pretty clear when the gangsters arrived. Thinking they are dealing with bunch of powerless street urchins they didn’t even bother to plan their approach. Most likely they believe that a simple, brute force would be enough. Well, any other day, they would be right. “Oi, you little maggots.” You could hear a voice coming from the outside. “We know you’re in there. Come out and we’ll not harm you. If you make this hard for us we won’t mind killing you lot, but we can also settle this in a more peaceful way.” They seriously didn’t consider the Imps to be any kind of threat.
The Exorcist [@Damiann47][@Eklispe][@Leaves]
The ghost attacked Sonia, jumping and swinging the sword in her right hand at the cat girl. The attack was without any technique, but its strength and speed was enough to send jolts of pain through Sonia’s arms when she parried it. That was not the end, however. Using Sonia’s sword as a support, the ghost spun mid-air, making a half-circle and now bringing the sword in its left hand down on Sonia’s head. To save herself cat had to let go of her sword and quickly jump back. This still was not enough and the ghost managed to leave a cut on the left side of her chest. Fortunately, it was nothing serious thanks to Bulwark. It could not press its attack further, though, because Orion pulled one of the remaining swords from its body. The ghost’s figure screamed out of pain and reflexively kicked at the half-dragon kid, hitting him and sending him flying into the apartment’s wall, making him immediately let go of the sword he managed to pull out. Together with the pain Orion could feel a familiar sensation of disconnection from reality. The haze enveloped his mind as his body began to transform. To Orion it seemed like eternity, but in reality the transformation from humanoid to wolf form took barely a moment. Now, the rabid ghost was faced by an equally rabid, oversized wolf. Meanwhile, Rayo was destroying apartment’s furniture.
Qaizan Dungeon [@VitaVitaAR][@PKMNB0Y]
Holy shit, what are you doing? This is a dungeon, you know? An ancient structure created by a god! Do you honestly think that a divine figure would not account for possible hotheads who would try to destroy the walls instead of pass through the dungeon obeying the rules? Because it did. Despite it being your most powerful attack, Spark Rise Vermilion not only did zero damage to the wall you shot it at, but instead ricocheted to another wall. Then another. Then the ceiling. Then the floor. Then the ceiling again. In just a few seconds it ricocheted a few dozen times before finally planting itself into Takeyoshi. Ouch. The poor tengu boy was flung to the ground, a huge cloud of steam coming out from the front of his body. It looked like it hurt like hell, but with your help Takeyoshi managed to stand up.
