[color=fff200]"Yeah, Yeah. Thank me later."[/color]

Using the momentary distraction as the gun went flying into the other corner of the room Colossus grabbed the chain that was meant to bind his hands and pulled it to the side. Sending the man careering into his compatriots. All of them falling to the ground. [color=fff200]"I wouldn't recommend standing up again. The big guy will just knock you back down."[/color] Colossus would have chuckled if the situation wasn't so serious. It was always an advantage having a telepath on the team. He had yet to face one in anything other than the danger room back at the mansion, he was dreading the day he met one in combat.  That said all the members of the congregation, minus one, complied with Ruths [i]request[/i].

Colossus turned to flash a smile at her when she noticed a look of horror on her face.

[b]BANG[/b]

Colossus froze, the bullet was not aimed for him. Though Ruth didn't fall. Colossus turned around [i]the boy![/i] He was no longer on the ground, where was-

The priest was standing in the doorway, having been trying to escape. He fell backwards onto the ground, a red hole in the middle of his forehead where the bullet struck it's target, as he fell Colossus could see the young mutant holding the gun. Frozen. [color=00a99d][b]"Вот дерьмо"[/b][/color] Colossus began to walk towards him, a look of pure sympathy on his face. [color=00a99d][b]"My friend-"[/b][/color] The boy just raised his gun at Colossus. Colossus raised his hands to show him that he wasn't meaning to do anything threatening. "-it will be okay. Come with us-" He indicated back to Ruth [color=00a99d][b]"-We'll take you somewhere safe. Somewhere you can be you."[/b][/color]

The boys arm began to shake as Colossus reached him and put his hand on his shoulder. Raising his other hand to get the boy to give the gun over to him. [color=00a99d][b]"Come, tell me your name comrade. We are here to help you."[/b][/color] The boy pulled the gun back to himself, understandable. It was a security precaution. 

[color=0072bc]"My name-"[/color] This brought a smile to Colossus' face, he was getting through to him. Soon they would be able to put this unpleasant business behind them. Though the moment was short lived. [color=0072bc]"-doesn't matter to anyone."[/color]

[color=fff200]"COLOSSUS, STOP-"[/color]

Before he could react, and before Ruth could finish her sentence. The boy raised the gun to below his chin and pulled the trigger. Colossus caught the boys body, lowering it gently to the ground. They did this to him... these [i]Purifiers[/i]. They turned him against himself, made him feel as if he was an abomination. Unworthy. He heard a slight whimper in Ruths voice as she spoke. [color=fff200]"So what, uh, what are we going to do with the others?"[/color]

Colossus stood tall, closed his eyes for a second and took a deep breath. Letting the air fill his chest for a moment before letting it go. [color=00a99d][b]"Call authorities."[/b][/color]

[color=fff200]"But-" [/color]He flashed her a look she had never seen on his face before. He wasn't just angry, he was pissed.

[color=00a99d][b]"Call authorities. I'm sure they would want to know what has happened in this place."[/b][/color] He grabbed the chain of the ground, wrapping it around one of the mens hands and going from one to another. [color=00a99d][b]"You should all remember one thing from this day."[/b][/color] He stood on front of them after they were all tied up. [color=00a99d][b]"I was reluctant to resort to violence, I came here to help. Not hurt. You did not comply, and brought this upon yourselves. Not only that-"[/b][/color] He pointed to the body of the boy. [color=00a99d][b]"-You turned a [i]boy[/i] against himself. That is your greatest crime."[/b][/color]

With that Colossus turned and walked to the door. However before walking out of the farmhouse he cast one last look back. [color=00a99d][b]"He has more humanity, than any of you ever will."[/b][/color]
