However he is also skilled strategist and tactician who also has a flair for the unorthodox, which in turn is combined with brutality and ruthlessness that makes him a dangerous foe. And, finally, he is a political animal who has no speciesism for nonhumans; rather, he oppresses everyone equally. [B]Standard Equipment:[/B] An Imperial General's armor and uniform, darts, a javelin, a sword, a shield, writing equipment, and a magic potion that heals his injuries. [B]Bio:[/B] Gaius Albinus Scipio was born into one of the Empire's prime families, and was destined for a military career as soon as his physical strength and quick mind became clear. Rising through the ranks in the Empire's campaigns of genocide and enslavement, Gaius saw the importance of using terrain in order to avoid and inflict casualties, as well as the need to learn from one's enemy. Eventually acquiring a household of his own, filled with slaves and treasures, the General quickly made both friends and enemies in high society, enemies that Gaius strove to get rid of at the first opportunity. Then, the 'Gods' opened the Gate, and the Empire decided to invade. Gaius was one of the few to argue that proper scouting, reconnissance, and spycraft was needed in order to see if the lands beyond the Gate were ripe for conquest, but he was overruled by the hubris-filled leadership of Imperial Command. When the slaugther of the invasion force ensued, and the news reached Gaius, what the man felt was vindication, as well as fear. Knowing that the Empire would send a force to Alnus Hill, where the forces from the 'Other World' were creating a forward base, he managed to get a position among the local command there, but not a leading one; no, a leading position in the local command would be his' once his enemies had all been killed by the 'Other World' forces...
