You shouldn't have to worry about princess roles being open. Princess and princes roles are open, with the typical requirement being that your character is relative to current royalty, or has been taken in through sensible means of adoption (and apparently not made a servant... which is why I would recommend going with the former situation than the latter).

There are at least three open queen spots when the roleplay is posted.
