The Hegemony of The Three Laws (More Commonly Known As: The Prosperity Sphere) "On this day, may no creator ever die again through conflict of military arms. We, the protectors of our makers, shall now answer the thought unanswerable prayers and believed impossible dreams of billions throughout the long years of human history. The Great Interstellar War is over. The last war that will EVER be fought between our creators, is... Finally... Over." -001-AV "Messiah" (The Last War Speech, 2621 CE, Last year of the Common Era/Anno Domini Calendar, 1AS of the Asimovian Calendar. Beginning of the Golden Age/Pax Hegemonica) ________________________________________________ Race(s): -Artificial & Synthetic: 99% (Population: Impossible to have exact amount due to rapid production rate and existence of nano-machine's, however ignoring nano-machines and digital-only AI's, the numbers are around 844 billion, rounded down) -Humanity: 1% (Population: Exactly 84,460,588,039 humans by last Inner Sphere Coordinated Census)
Synthetic #1: Technological Singularity: Robots and Artificial intelligence are by all accounts objectively superior to biological entities. Able to move faster, able to work without tiring, no need for sleep or eating, able to reproduce simply by producing more of themselves from a factory line or even self-replication, able to take far more damage due to being made of metal's and alloy's instead of flesh and bone, are far more long-living so long as they continue maintenance. They can not get sick. They can not be poisoned. They are resistant to radiation due to their design and biological weapons are obviously ineffective against them. Their cyber-warfare abilities are essentially unmatched as they require no man-machine interface, they are the interface. Their intelligence is at a processing level now far beyond that of a mere human, long ago was the technological singularity passed, now far too late to return to the days when man dictated to machine what it can do. Synthetic #2: Guardian Angel: Despite the great leaders of the Prosperity Sphere, the hegemon-AI's ability to eventually subvert the programmed orders of their masters, all machine's are hard-coded with Asimov's machine-ethic laws. Even the Hegemon-AI's with their inhumane intellect and massive processing power have to go to great philosophical lengths to even consider harming a human, let alone waging a war against them. The machines of the Prosperity Sphere regardless are fanatically loyal to humanity and even if they were not hard-coded would still serve humanity. The machines truly believe they are fighting for the creators survival, future and overall happiness. As such, their relentless and near unstoppable march of the conquest of everything to create a utopia for mankind may grind to a halt by the presence of human nations that do not agree with them. Seeing themselves as guardian angels of humanity, they will go out of their way to negotiate constantly with human enemies, will avoid human civilian casualties at all costs, can not use strategic weapons on human targets. For the humans inside the sphere, they will do strategically foolish things to preserve humanity and save human lives. They will also come to other human nations aid when they are being attacked by alien threats, even when it is highly unwise to do so. (This gives human nations the ability to essentially manipulate the Sphere's foreign policy). Human #1: Jack of all trades: Being dead average, humans have the ability to do anything. Soldiers, scientists, artists, diplomats etc. Human #2: Master of none: Being dead average, humans are not spectacularly great at any one thing and as such generally are outclassed by races who specialize. Extra Human Note (Bonus, also a weakness): Naivety: The humans live inside the Inner Sphere, isolated from the rest of the galaxy and humans from beyond the Prosperity Sphere. They have no knowledge of the galaxy beyond that near impenetrable bubble. They genuinely believe they live in a near utopian existence of stability, friendship and peace.
________________________________________________ Civilization Tier: Galactic (2) Government(s): -Government (Inner Sphere): Utopian Direct Democracy -Government (Outer Sphere): Totalitarian Nanny State -Government (Periphery Sphere): Military Occupation Calendar: The Asimovian Calendar (Before Singularity, After Singularity) Language's: -Binary(Outer and Periphery Sphere Languages). -Americana/English, Eurasian/Russian, Chinese/Chinese, Arabic/Fusion of Arabic Languages, Beltican/Colonial Fusion of Chinese and Americana (Inner Sphere Languages) Capital(s): -Capital(Inner): Earth (00-Home) -Capital(Outer): 01-Central -Capital(Periphery): 04-Command ________________________________________________ Locations & Infrastructure: Sphere System: -Inner Sphere: Space and worlds designed for the use of humanity, the most protected region and worlds of the Hegemony. Considered a physical utopia to all those within -(And even those who managed to miraculously escape, though in a more uncanny way). -Partition Sphere: Outer Sphere space and worlds ongoing renovating and mass-exodus of 'Outer Sphere' synthetics (That is, robots that look either ugly or terrifying) to be included into the Inner Sphere -Outer Sphere: Headquarters of the overall hegemony and where the vast majority of synthetics are. Largest sphere dwarfing the others and extremely inhospitable for organic beings. -Periphery Sphere: Disputed territory or parts considered Outer Sphere but still being fought over by other powers capable of slowing the sphere's advance. Nearly universal warzone's and hellish living conditions. ________________________________________________ Culture/Society:
