The event had gone just as well as one would expect from a gathering of fairy tale characters, practically magical, but like so many things in this world it was coming to an end. The band was packing up, friends were having their last toasts, lovers were sharing final embraces, and many a party goer were less than gracefully stumbling their way out of the ballroom. The Remembrance Day festivities had come to an end and just like every year since its founding the former mystical creatures and legendary characters now had to return to their mundane lives that they had constructed for themselves in this equally drab world. For Boogie the event was quite enjoyable, it wasn't very often that he got to surround himself with such a large crowd of Fables. The only times he truly found himself in the company of his own kind was during his weekly visits to the Farm in order to hold his anger management counseling group. But as the evening went on Boogie felt it was time for him to call it a night. "It has been a true pleasure." Boogie said as he stood from his seat and looked towards the colorful cast of characters that had gathered around him over the course of the night. "But I do believe that the time has come for me to bid you each a fin fare-thee-well. I wish you each a pleasant and safe evening." He added before he offered the group a slight bow of his head, a dry paper thin line that passed for his smile forming on his face. And with that Boogie made his way from the small social circle and out of the ballroom. It did not take long for Boogie to make it to the Woodlands and back into his apartment. A sigh content escaped the former monster as he loosened the tie around his neck and removed his jacket, placing it on the rack that hung near the front door. His apartment was rather unassuming, nothing out of the ordinary or too noteworthy. Boogie made his way to a small arm chair that was nestled between two book shelves and took a seat. He grabbed a book that sat beside his seat, it being titled The Lady Hellion, and wasted no time before cracking it open. A small smile came to Boogie's face as he read, this truly was a magical night. -----------------
Witching Well Chamber, 12:23 AM
"The hell happened to her doc?" The gruff voice of the former Big Bad Wolf asked the older looking gentleman who was currently hunched over in examination of the deathly pale figure of a girl who was laid upon a stone slab. "She's comatose Bigby, looks like she overdosed. But with what... I can't say." Doctor Swineheart said as he pulled back from the table that the barely clinging to life girl. "Damn it doc I need something." Bigby said, the agitation clear in his voice though a sorrowful look came over his face as he glanced down at the nearly lifeless form on the table. "Bigby this isn't my field. All I can tell you is that this is something that you will ant to bring up to the thirtieth floor."
