The dwarf prince managed to get shakily to his feet with Gandalf's help as he looked at Bilbo. "You! "Thorin-" Fili started to protest, thinking Thorin was being very unfair to the hobbit, though he stopped short and smiled slightly as suddenly his uncle's tone changed. "I've never been so glad to be wrong, in all my life!" Thorin declared, with what was probably the first genuine smile he had given the hobbit since Bilbo had joined the company, embracing the hobbit in a grateful hug.
