I can tell you right now how my girl would react;
• She'd find common ground with her in being a nerd (wanting to learn stuff all the time). =P
• She probably WOULD let her be independant - after all, she would realize how important that can be for those with physical disadvantages.
• She'd enjoy her soothing aura.
• She'd also very much geek out on fantasies stories and worlds with her.
• She might even develop a crush! Who knows. =P

Anyways, finally got my powers anchored, so I'll go about writing a CS. If there's no replies by the time I have something to put down, I'll just edit this post. ^.^
