One primary weapon system, one secondary weapon system and thrusters are in every Framewerk, as well as an on-board user interface that displays the basics like Frame status, a limited sonar-based indicator of friendly and hostile activity, and some other small things. Framewerks by themselves are what the Galactic Council believes is the key to repelling the alien invasion, especially once they have become advanced enough to allow human-like agility through a secret development.

What you have proposed doesn't sound awful, but I want to see a CS before I can make a proper assessment.
