I think it would mostly come down to what type of godslayer it is. Holy magic tends to be specifically [i]good[/i] oriented. Although theoretically you could have a holy user who had death oriented powers.

If they faced up against say, a disease godslayer I imagine that the holy user would have the advantage. If the elements were somewhat more in line I would think that the holy user would be at a pretty massive disadvantage.
