Wields a claymore named Seraphim. [sub]
ʙɪᴏɢʀᴀᴘʜʏ . . .
[/sub]
Born fragile and weak, Adeline came into this world three minutes after her twin Auberon. As nurses thought her twin to be dead, they immediately tended to Adeline. It would take a miracle to save her, and that miracle was given. The angel who possessed her allowed her to live the rest of her days as the spoiled princess of Michael. She always had servants at her feet, a father to pamper her, and a mother to love her. Of all treasures she gathered throughout her childhood years, fantasy books would be the most influential ones. She would dream of knights in shining armor and damsels in distress as much as she would dream of being rescued and becoming a hero. At the age of five and six, Adeline was the adored Princess of Michael, servants and nobles in awe of her attitude. No tantrums, no fits, and brimming with pure honesty. At the age of ten, she would be given private tutors to prepare her for her role to be: a fit and proper ruler. When she turned twelve years old, her father would begin privately tutoring her as well. Studying and growing in her recluse lifestyle, the only people she would communicate with would be family, nobles, and other fellow royals from neighboring kingdoms. As she grew older, she wouldn't be adored by all those around her. Some would say she's too childish while others too self-centered, but the ones she made good relations with would remain for a long time. When Adeline was not making talk with servants and family, she was reading books about proper ruler-ship or true love's kiss. There was a part of her that she carried with age, and such would be her love for fairy-tales and fantasies. Ever dreaming of grand weddings and enchanting masquerades, Adeline became no exception to adolescent distractions. There would be no time for these dreams to turn into realities: this would be a lesson she would tell herself over and over. From then on, some days would consist of Adeline sharing her wondrous romanticized stories with friends while other days would have her stern and silent. At the age of sixteen, Adeline's father would start her training in fighting. At first, Adeline was opposed to the idea of combat. She didn't want to have her hair fall out of place or have to roll in the dirt, and nor did she like the idea of scars ruining her delicate skin. When she picked up her training sword and tested against her father, it became clear to them that she was meant for battle. He would hand her his legendary claymore Seraphim and would see a true symbol of strength: what he had to yield with two hands she yielded with one. With this abnormality came a change to her appearance, and this change gave them a discovery that very little would be aware of. Adeline as an angel had him stunned, almost breathless. Since that day, things remained calm and quiet. He would never speak of what happened, and though this would stir Adeline's curiosity, she would choose to remain silent. It would be weeks after her eighteenth birthday when her parents were assassinated. First came stages of mourning, but following that came stress and fear of what would lie ahead. As twin with her brother, Adeline would ascend the throne. Then came a sense of excitement, but even her old dreams and fantasies couldn't keep fueling her with positive energy. Fright of being disliked, performing the wrong mistakes, the worry of not receiving all the training she could've possibly earned filled her mind. Adeline wasn't sure whether it was right to take the throne after such, for what if she was next? Though shaky and uncertain, she had to remain determined and strong. The kingdom would now be in her hands, a thought that frightened a handful of people, but she would promise herself to prove them wrong. With high hopes for the Kingdom of Michael, Adeline would promise herself to become the ruler her parents would want; to become a queen the kingdom would be blessed to have. At nineteen years old, Adeline Zaphiris still keeps up with her love for romanticized fairy-tales, fancy dresses, and high-class enjoyments. With a strong taste for tea and strolls through the garden, she always keeps her company happy with a little bit of this and that. When the days become late, she takes her time to train with her tutors and rehearse with her advisors, then settles down with a book before bed. All of it is more or less routine, but nevertheless perfected to the tea. She cooperatively rules with her twin brother Auberon, seeking the best for her kingdom and herself.
[sub]
ᴇxᴛʀᴀ . . .
[/sub]
Adeline's angelic form...
ever dream

"Her Grace may perform her duties well, but her attitude is another manner." [sub]
ɴᴀᴍᴇ . . . [sub]
ʙɪᴏɢʀᴀᴘʜʏ . . .
[/sub]
The daughter of a demon and a human, Daniella was only seven when her mother escaped home with her twin. Though her parents were once a merry pair, her father's rituals and cultist nature would no longer be tolerated by her mother. For the sake of her children, Daniella's mother planned to escape with her children, but would be faced to pick one or the other during her escape... And so, Daniella was left behind with her father. Left under the care of her father, she would be raised with the name Luxus from then on and live in a village's outskirts in Gabriel. However, Daniella would be memorizing more names than just her father's and own. Heartbroken but not hopeless, Daniella's father would tend to her to the best of his abilities through the dedication of both his cult and her. Daniella was introduced to these demonic arts at a young age and would live a bloody life thought to be normal. Rituals with living sacrifices and covering up assassinations would become a norm in her life, and soon enough, one she would take part of. Her true attendance to the cult would begin at the age of ten. Daniella would be turned away from many aspects of the outside world and questions about her family in order to focus on the cult alone. Anything about her brother and mother would be pushed aside in order to nurture her potential. Daniella would rise into the high ranks of the cult at the age of fourteen. With this high rank came a curse though, one that she would gladly accept from her father. Now given official entrance into the cult, she would live her upcoming years in a lifestyle centered around secrets, mysteries, and death. Blood wouldn't be a startling sight anymore and corpse disposal would be fairly common. It seemed to be that for her years within the cult that the only blood of her interest would be that of her own. Though dedicated to Silvius, she wished to be dedicated to her brother and mother as well. And so, her chance would be given. At the age of sixteen, she would be given the task to assassinate the Princess of Gabriel. Everything would fall into place for the night of the assassination except for one particular servant intervening between the path of Daniella and her prey. Battling each other in the dark, she would only see the servant as pawn standing in her way. However, this servant would be more than that; with a bit of light slipping into the room, the two would cease battle at the discovery of familiar faces... Daniella found her brother Judah. In that moment, she decided to abandon the cult and never return, taking back her original name. For a short period of time, Daniella's life was a dream placed in reality. Both her abilities and brother's assistance helped her in acquiring a job as bishop, and she would be able to speak with him on a daily basis. They would exchange stories, adventures, and events with one and another, enjoying each other's company. The feeling of unwavered joy would continue until Judah was tasked with a duty, and one that he would not return from. Though a search was made to find him, results would show up as empty... And so Daniella would live apart from him yet again. In present day, Daniella hasn't dedicated her life to finding him just yet. She holds onto the hope that she will run into him again, just like before. Since his disappearance, Daniella has stepped up to fill his servant role when she is not busy with her bishop duties. However, one may notice that she lacks the same attitude as her brother, and generally makes for a poor servant. It cannot be helped in her eyes, for Lucian inspired her to do one thing before disappearing: to live and to be alive. No longer under the restrictions of her father's cult, she lives by that code in her personality and decisions, but keeps quiet about her cultist background and cursed identity. Daniella can only hope that the past does not resurface, or at least keep as much of it tucked away as possible.
[sub]
ᴇxᴛʀᴀ . . .
[/sub]
Daniella's curse is place upon her left palm with an intricate, crescent shape. Running along the following palm lines of life, heart, and Mercury makes the outer shape while the symbol within runs through the lines of head, fate, and Sun. The rest of the shape makes for the cult's symbol. When she cuts upon this curse, she does not experience the feeling of pain, but will still suffer from blood loss. Her curse glows when the curse is being cut into and when she is summoning a demon; it will also glow if she receives an injury that causes her to bleed anywhere else along her skin. It stops glowing once a demon has been summoned or if the ritual has been interrupted.
alive

"Nystrom is a brilliant and dependable unit, though I fear... He grew up with decent-waged parents and was the eldest among his siblings. Naturally, he was protective over his younger brother Ethan and sister Irene. From a young age, he trained himself to become a warrior and to take part in Gabriel's army. His life could be considered plain and simple for the first eleven years. He worked various jobs around town, offering help to his fellow villagers with whatever he could. Lance would become his village's favorite face, known for his hard work and kindness. For that time in his life, it seemed like nothing could go wrong. On his twelfth birthday however, his family learned that their daughter Irene was cursed by a demon. At the start of it all, the family convinced themselves that they would still love her no matter what. However, as weeks and months passed, Ethan started to avoid her and her parents would begin pushing her away. Even when Lance was tempted to reject his sister, he chose not to. Though he accepted her openly, the village did not, losing some well-made connections. The sense of solidarity that was brought to both of them gave Lance a chance to focus more on his training at the cost of his friends. The household would become restless with worry, fear, and even anger. On some days, Lance refused to go home, staying with Irene on the streets for a night or two. The two would form a well cherished friendship between each other despite these hard times, but it wouldn't last forever. At the age of thirteen, he would return to a home turned to ashes. Though his father and brother survived, his mother would be lost to the fire and his sister would be reported missing. A trail of personal items and tracks could not lead to her however, and the investigation ended with her assumed dead. However, Lance kept his hopes up. As his father and brother relocated to another village with remorse and relief, Lance felt a need to find his sister. He would pack bags and adventure across the land of Gabriel, even crossing over the borders of Raphael and Michael multiple times in order to find her. He would be on foot everyday, acquiring a routine to his adventure. Along the way he would build a reputation for himself among villagers. For food and shelter he would work, tending to even their smallest needs or proceeding with deliveries. Nystrom would become a surname associated with one friendly, hardworking individual filled with motivation. During his journey, he would encounter an angel that chose to follow him for a short while. This short while would prove him worthy of her blessing, seeing his dedication towards finding his sister and helping others. It was then that he was given her blessing in hopes that one day he'll find Irene. Though he continued miles afterwards, there was a time when he would return home. Hope would diminish in time, but his memories would continue to rekindle this hope for just awhile longer. Lance would return at sixteen years old and enlist with Gabriel's army. There hasn't been many dramatic changes to his life between then and now. At the age of twenty-one, he's made himself a good name and reputation among a good amount of citizens in Gabriel. Though he once dreamed of being a warrior in Gabriel's army, he hopes to become knighted one day as well as finding his sister. As for now, he keeps company with friends and helping fellow neighbors out. Despite adventuring far and wide, Lance has not grown weary of exploration. As for now, he keeps himself busy with aiding others, studying history, and mastering his combat abilities.
[sub]
ᴇxᴛʀᴀ . . .
[/sub]
Lance has a slender blessing mark running down his left temple. [sub]
ʙɪᴏɢʀᴀᴘʜʏ . . .
[/sub]
Much of Lenore's starting history has been lost, recalling vague memories around the age of eight and nothing beyond that. The smell of smoke filling the air, screams and cries, and yet the gentle whisper: "There will be no more monsters..." Everything seemed to breeze through her like, unsure of whether or not she was living in a dream or reality. The vague, chopped memories left her to remembering the last things to that adventure. The warmth that trickled down her skin and the amber eyes of a horrified demon would be the last things she would recall on that day, all else fading to black. If she was left behind, she would have died. If she wasn't carried away however, she'd like to think that she would be living in serenity, far away from the army's rebellious behavior. As a cursed human growing up within the Kingdom of Lucifer, she would grow tough and cold towards those around her. Almost everyone around her was a demon, and those who weren't demons were cursed humans, often serving as slaves and servants. Lenore would not suffer under servitude, being introduced to this world by the necromancer Ichabod and his "mute" lady Aislinn. Though adopted by them at a young age, Ichabod did not show much as a father figure towards Lenore, but rather a tutor. On the other hand, Aislinn would be the closest motherly figure Lenore could ever have despite her questionable movement. By the age of ten, it would become obvious to her that Aislinn is nothing more than a corpse reanimated by Ichabod. With this discovery, Aislinn's motherly nature would die out and Lenore would have most of her socialization with Ichabod, whether as tutor or not. Ages of eleven, twelve, and thirteen would begin sweeping by her. These years were composed of studying and igniting those who crossed her. Seen as an oddity, she made very little friends, often with the lesser demons of the world. By the age of fourteen, she would gain official bishop apprenticeship under the care of Ichabod despite being tutored for the role long ago. At first, the idea was laughable, and she wasn't expected to remain around for long. Many demons of the kingdom did not believe in Lenore's potential, though those who would threaten it would be faced with Ichabod. Nevertheless, she continued to prove herself among her peers and would end up surpassing Ichabod in no time. At sixteen years of age, she would become bishop with ease. Lenore was seen as a human ready to be crushed under the thumb of many demons, but her cruel tongue, little patience, and eminent power made her a human worthy of their respect or fear. Whether with death or scolding, Lenore would find a way to dominate those who opposed her. This attitude and her continuous dedication to her role would make her an exceptional bishop. Barely seventeen years old, Lenore would acquire the title of archbishop to the surprise and awe of those around her. Nowadays, Lenore is the reserved, determined, and fierce archbishop of Lucifer. Intolerant to sarcasm, mockery, and rebels, she is known for delivering harsh punishments. Despite this outward appearance, Lenore is still a mystery-seeker at heart who will always keep herself inquiring about something. Within recent time, it should be noted that Lenore has developed feelings for Ichabod, creating a strange relationship between the two and while yet narrowing down her loyalty. Serving the Kingdom of Lucifer does not give her the need to remain loyalty to the kingdom, especially with the lack of welcome they've given to her. Often side by side with Ichabod, Lenore only wants in the world are centered around him, her, and nothing more.
[sub]
ᴇxᴛʀᴀ . . .
[/sub]
Lenore has her curse mark placed upon the middle portion of her sternum, the center of the design in the middle. [sub]
ʙɪᴏɢʀᴀᴘʜʏ . . .
[/sub]
The son of Raphael's legendary king Vincent Regnier, Valentine was born to become a great king like his father, and this would be a task that he would not fail. Within the first year of his life, his mother Carina would pass twelve hours of giving birth to his younger sister Cordelia. At this young age he would not understand the impact it made upon the kingdom or his father until many years later. For the time being, there would be far more important things to tend to, and Valentine's education would be one of them. Kept busy with private lessons and training for most of his life, Valentine would not face many hardships in his life. His father would take him out whenever there were business matters to attend and Valentine would learn from these meetings. Within Valentine's younger years, attending parties would not be much of his interest; the enjoyment of the party didn't thrill him, but meeting new people did take his interest. With good manners and attitude, he would be welcomed almost anytime by his elders. Even if his father did not take him to a meeting within the castle and Valentine happened to reach the meeting room for whatever means, Vincent would allow him to sit and listen, to study and learn from his father and others. Once Valentine reached the age of fifteen, he seemed to master the craft of speech for his age. Sure, there will always be something to be learned, but from this point on-wards it seemed as if he always knew the right words to say. As a mere prince, he would not be assigned to many important tasks. Time to time his father would test him, but he would always prove victorious in the task and go beyond his father's expectations. When he wasn't being put up trials of word and sword, he would be practicing his natural gift, tending to his younger sister, or attending parties and gatherings across many kingdoms. His presence would be beloved by both lass and lad, whether it be because he was charming or simply enjoyable to be around. Even if the gathering consisted of only three other persons, Valentine would accept such, and his public appearance would rise with his reputation. When Valentine wasn't at a party, he would be back at the castle practicing swordsmanship alongside with his sister Cordelia. There was no doubt that his sister excelled in this field, however this did not discourage Valentine from pursuing the field. Combat would never become his specialty, but despite this, his father would appreciate both Valentine and Cordelia equally. At the age of twenty, Valentine's party-filled life would come to an end at the death of his father. There came a wave of pressure, nervousness, and fear, for Valentine would become King of Raphael and without a doubt be compared to his father. Only time would tell of his successes and failure, and through most eyes of Raphael came success. Some would begin to favor Valentine more over his father to his own surprise. Within four years, Valentine became accustomed to the comfort of the throne room, sitting at the head of the meeting room, and being addressed as the King of Raphael. Nowadays, Valentine still rules as the proud and beloved King of Raphael. Though he has only ruled for four years, he carries a good memory with his name. The peacemaker, the diplomat, and the mender, it is hard to believe by many that he is simply human. While many rumor that Valentine is blessed, this is surely untrue; there comes some days when Valentine wonders why his sister received a blessing while he was overlooked, but tries not to dwell on it too much. After all, Valentine has made many successes as being a simple and mere human. Charming, diplomatic, peaceful, understanding, and dedicated, he is composed with the aspects of the ideal King of Raphael. Holding his head high and proud, Valentine continues to seek the best for his people and kingdom.
[sub]
ᴇxᴛʀᴀ . . .
[/sub]
Since Valentine is neither blessed or cursed, he lacks any marks. It should be noted that he wears a necklace with a ring that his father gave to him days before his passing. A heirloom as old as the sealing of Lucifer, it is a plain golden ring on the outside with ancient holy runes inside. In translation, it loosely means "It is God who heals," or Raphael. When he is not wearing it, he has it stored in a safe area or gives it to his sister Cordelia.
(laughs into oblivion)
