Cordie)
age : : Twenty-Three
species : : Blessed Human (Courtesy of Picard, although she is unaware.)
role and kingdom : : Princess of Raphael, Knight of Raphael
abilities : : Rapid Self-Healing, Swordsmanship

Cordelia's rapid self-healing can fully heal minor wounds, like bruises, scrapes, and shallow cuts within a couple of days. Major wounds, like deep bruises and cuts, will heal within half the time. Though not completely incapable, she is less likely to get infections. This ability does not affect her ability to fall ill or her recovery time for it, unless it is related to an infection.

biography : : When Princess Cordelia was born, the kingdom rejoiced; however, it did not last for long. With her birth came the death of Queen Carina, blood loss draining the fair queen of her life. Despite this great loss, her father and her brother showered the new princess with love and light, regaling her with tales every night of her wonderful mother. As was expected of a Regnier, Cordelia was an amiable child, a trait which has not left her in her growth. Her devotion is never questioned, whether it be to a cause or to a person, and her beliefs and behaviour are lawful. All defining traits of a Regnier, which she had no trouble in inheriting. Like, her mother, she's incredibly honest; however, she lacks tact, and can be very frank. Unlike her brother, she never took to diplomacy well, preferring to speak her mind and cut to the chase. So while her peaceful older brother was clearly suited to be the next great king following their father, Cordelia sought recognition in another field - her field of expertise. She aspired to be a knight, to fight where her brother could not, and her father was unable to tell her no. Instead he assigned the best in his kingdom to teach the princess, and she became a worthy page, and then a knight. With her father's natural passing came her inheritance of the Regnier family's sword and shield set, blessed for speed. Wielding them with pride, she stands tall with her brother, the king, and seeks a better tomorrow for their people. He is also capable of breathing underwater for a limited amount of time - up to half an hour - and must expel the water from his lungs upon surfacing.

biography : : Born a mere three minutes (or nearly so) before his twin sister, King Auberon, then a prince, was presumed dead upon his birth. His sister was frail, receiving immediate attention, and it was only by a pure stroke of luck that a nursemaid noticed his struggling breaths. Neither twin was born very healthy, but with aid from her born ability, Adeline recovered much faster than his brother. Her outlook on life was more carefree, her behaviour more so, and Auberon grew to resent her ease in life. Though bitter, he still loved her dearly, and strove to protect and shelter her. With his physical health, however, Auberon feels like he has little to offer his sister, so while she reads fantasies, he indulges in politics and diplomacy. Where he lacks in strength, he makes up in knowledge, and is very proud of that. Following his parents' assassination, it was of little surprise that he and his twin would share the throne, and Auberon was equal parts eager to prove himself alongside his sister and nervous about working with her. He's aware that he's alienated himself from her, and though the years have slowly begun to mend their relationship, their ascension to the throne is prematurely forcing the rift between them shut. Whether this will prove helpful or harmful will only show in time. In the meantime, he seeks to be as fair of a ruler as possible, having read a great deal about Raphael's great king. He seeks to begin a correspondence with King Valentine in hopes that they can better their kingdoms together.
species : : [s]Angel[/s] Human
role and kingdom : : Advisor to the Throne of Raphael
abilities : : Swordsmanship (Healing, although he has not told.)

Picard can heal both minor and major wounds on both himself and on others, as well as lessen the severity of illnesses. The more serious the wound, the more energy it takes. He cannot just continuously heal people either; he must seriously consider who he chooses to heal, and take into consideration how severe the injury or illness he is tackling is. If he pushes himself too hard, it can put him unconscious for several days while his body recovers.

biography : : Picard left the Higher Realm to live among mortals due to his fascination with the lives both humans and angels alike have lead on Eden. Skilled in combat, he hoped to make his way as a knight or warrior, though his ability meant he was better suited as a healer. Unfortunately, his knowledge in the medical field was limited, and with no interest in traveling further down that path, Picard sought to make use of his otherwise vast knowledge in the courts. He could be a personal healer for the royal family, yes, but his primary role would be that of an advisor. Alongside Valentine and Cordelia's father, the angel helped bring about a great deal of change for the better in Raphael. Come Valentine's birth, Picard would return to Heaven briefly, and then re-insert himself in the lives of the Regnier family as a mere two years after Cordelia's birth. He was raised by a lord and lady of Raphael's courts, a bright child often seen running after the active princess and attending tutoring lessons with the young prince. When the princess was eight, he secretly blessed her, hoping to aid her safety in regards to her active nature. He took the time to grow up alongside the royal family, and it was of little surprise to those who recognized him that he would become the advisor the king once more, if only in the king's later years preparing the court for his son. Picard takes his role as an advisor very seriously, and advises both King Valentine and Princess Cordelia. Though there are those who have their doubts due to his age, he is content in letting it remained a secret that he is an angel.
species : : Demon
role and kingdom : : Bishop of Lucifer
abilities : : Necromancy, Longevity

Ichabod raises people from the dead. He prefers to use more pristine corpses, or at least ones with all limbs in tact. He cannot raise a headless body, and limbs, once lost, cannot be reattached, nor can a head. When people are reanimated, they lose a portion of their soul - essentially the part that gave them any vibrancy - and their ability to communicate. Reanimated corpses are under his command, and he typically focuses them all on a single task. The concentration it takes to put them on multiple tasks is greater, so he just doesn't bother. The part of the soul he consumes contributes to his longevity, though it can also be used up by his raising of corpses and command of them.

biography : : let it die
song : : a quick taste of the poison / a quick twist of the knife / when the obsession with death / the obsession with death becomes a way of life
alt. song : : i've been looking for a way / to bring you back to life / and if i could find a way, then i would bring you back tonight
