Right? Any more edginess and I'm going to have to get a new box of adhesive medical strips! That being said, John's personality is the opposite. While he isn't exactly peppy or bubbly, he seems to have child like wonder with everything, and finds it easy to not see the bad in things, if only due to sheer ignorance.

It would make sense as they both have been in the hands of (pseudo) government organizations. I'm sure your character would be interested by how open his mind is, and the staggering amounts of STEM based information that is inside it without any seeming origin. Unless she's not a fan of animals, as John spends lots of time feeding birds in the park.
