Born on a backwards technologically backwards planet with an oppressive corporation who all but owned every settler, Maddie had known nothing but hard work. But as she stepped out of her cabin to see what had woken her that fateful morning she saw that a space ship had landed in her latest Algae crop. As startling as it was she couldn’t look past the fact that with the destruction of her crop her last hope of ever getting out of debt died. Even stuck in the crushing reality of her hopes dying she helped the man who crashed into her life. However in helping the bright man with vivid eyes and startling hair, she set off a chain of events that would change everything and bring such color to her world that she would never be the same.
