Born with a silver spoon in her mouth she spit it out as soon as she could. Much to the disapproval of her Air-ship Magnate family she set out to become a Catcher. Catchers were a great many things but in a world populated with [i]Monsters[/i] (creatures who exude an Etheric field that sets them apart from regular animals) they are the ones who study, catch and when needed kill the Monsters. From academic catchers who rarely leave the lab to rough and tumble field catchers who were as much thugs as they were professionals, Catchers were where the excitement was and that was what Lisbet wanted. She needed to get a reputation for herself so that she could sign on to a prestigious crew off to study Dragons, a dream of hers. But in hunting Mullabee’s (a low level-threat) she ran into a catcher very unlike herself, thug to her scholar. They did not much care for each other but circumstances conspired that they would need to work together to uncover a great scandal that would make or break their careers.
