WHOA WHOA! Hold on! Lol. Okay so I just noticed the thread exploding with new stuff and am glad to see that a reboot is finally in the works. HOWEVER! As far as the time skip is concerned and the events leading to the defeat of Cypher and his group... I have some things to say about that. I still have to read through all the ideas you two were tossing around but it literally hurts every time I read someone else moving my characters and changing their stories for me. No offense taken of course as you both didn't know If I would return. That being said, Cypher is not the blood thirsty maniac that everyone seemed to make him out to be and those two kids were NOT from his group. They were from another group lead by another player.... I forget his name but i'll go through the thread and find it later. You'd have to leave out the whole search party thing because the kids would have instead given up the other group which I have no idea where they were... (Cypher was just about to begin a search for them himself in my last post). Just to throw these major points out there before I continue through this torturous read: 1. Cypher's group is defeated along with the major antagonists in the group. The triplets for starters were actually a quadruplet... Cliff, Brand and the chick i forget her name. Shea i think? They were the first three pillars... Earth, Fire and Water. The fourth is obviously Wind. Through some events which will now no longer matter and will never be explained, their fourth brother essentially is made up entirely of air. (Same thing would have happened to Brand during the war). The war sees them all killed off. The Doctor is killed. Sky, the woman in charge of caring for the "working class" population... those of Cypher Vale's group who were by nature non-confrontational and did not participate in any fights. She survives and is integrated into PL. Frazz or Fritz or whatever his name is. Boy with the power to make sparks of light appear survives. His power evolves as Cypher predicted into the ability to super heat and compress volumes of air causing the oxygen to ignite and explode upon violent depressurization. (Thats what the small sparks of light were: tiny explosions.) He solely responsible for the death of Brand and the unnamed "Air" brother. Frazz is integrated into PL. He's also responsible for injuring the Third Harpy Clo which brings me to my second (and third) point. Also want to state that Cypher's group was supposed to be joined by the aforementioned second group lead by the player. We were collabing. They would have been in the fight and would have been defeated as well. 2. Cypher Vale doesn't have a son. He has a daughter which turns out to be Clo. During the fight events lead to this discovery and I would have explained the how and why in some flashback post. Of course we never got to that point but she is in fact his daughter. She is one of the major reasons Cypher ends up losing the battle and eventually he admits defeat and intends to surrender... It would have been at this point that the Triplets would have turned on him because, if anyone remembers, they have beef with that radiation dude (The guy who killed off their entire half of Cypher Vales group). They intend to finish the war, severely injure Cypher and cast him aside and continue the assault with a faithful few. They are killed off and survivors are integrated into PL. 3. Clo is injured... critically. Frazz's explosion to kill off the remaining elemental siblings would have killed [insert name of important friendly character here] as well. Clo being the Harpy that she is sees the threat and tries to save him. She succeeds, saving the would be victim from harms way by wrapping him/her and herself in her wings. The explosion tears her left wing off and burns and scars parts of the left side of her body (Not her face thank God). What would have made this more emotional for herself is the fact that she would have just recently come to terms with accepting her wings. If you guys remember, she used to have issues with them: the fact that they set her apart from "normal" humans. The fact that they were pitch black and not bright like her adoptive sisters. They would have helped her embrace who she was and slowly she would have begun to use them more often instead of walking everywhere. 4. Clo leaves PL. Having lost one of the wings she'd just learned to love and witnessing the death of her father (and taking part in it in a way) she becomes emotionally distraught. Not only that but the death of [insert important friendly characters here] along with those who lost their life in defense of PL weighs heavily on her mind. She steps down from her position as Harpy, no longer feeling that she deserves the position and after a long talk with her sisters and Ravenia, she decides to leave. I would have had her come back much later in the story to warn them of a threat... whatever threat I would have come up with but with a 5 year time skip underway, now would be a good time to bring her back... or maybe I can have her wait. Also the war between Cypher and PL being the first during this 5 year time gap, she would have been absent for all conflicts that came after it. And that covers it for my characters I believe. The summary you put together is fine the way it is. I'm completely okay with the way you described Cypher and his "Zealots". The whole capturing and torturing Ravenia though is out of the question. It would seem more likely that the leader of the other group would have done that to her instead.
