After the four of them had agreed, Lyssa simply gave a big grin and clapped her hands together. She ushered everyone out of the room, being the last one out herself to make sure none of them stayed behind and tried to escape. As soon as everyone was out, she took the lead, keeping a quick pace as she led everyone out of the dorms and out of the academy. Soon enough, the four girls had made their way to the town, not taking them long at all to arrive. Lyssa led them down the roads swiftly, and eventually they reached their destination. A rather quaint looking bakery by the name of Boulangerie Le Claire. Lyssa ushered the four girls inside. As soon as the girls entered, they’d all smell freshly baked cakes, doughnuts and other pastries. The counter where people ordered was entirely made of glass cabinets, displaying row upon row of doughnuts, brownies, and other delicious looking confections. The place was well lit, with a number of tables, chairs, and booths lining the walls. Behind the counter, two people were working. Behind a glass window next to the counter, people could be seen working in the back. Flour, chocolate, and other ingredients could be seen zipping back and forth through the air, likely by some form of telekinesis. Each worker was putting icing on a delicious cake, creating works of art. Others were using pyromancy to heat the ovens to a perfect temperature. Lyssa grinned widely at the other girls. “Here we are! Okay, I’m buying everything, so whatever you want. I’ll pay for it. Just tell me and I’ll order!~ The four thousand year old woman observed the menu, trying to pick out something to buy. That's when she realized she didn't recognize anything on it. At all. The seventeen year old had only eaten one slice of cake in her entire life, and that was when she was distresed from a terrible memory. She didn't really remember how it felt. Trying not to reveal her lack of omnipotence, the goddess turned to look at the one who was paying. "The menu is vast, what does taste favor there?" Lyssa hummed for a moment before replying. Did Iravis not know what she wanted, then? Well, she shouldn’t worry! Lyssa was an expert at this. “Well, I’d suggest strawberry. Strawberry cake is delicious. Not my favorite, but I get the feeling you’d like it.” She gave Iravis a friendly smile. “Buuut, if you want something more chocolatey, a chocolate ice cream cake is always good.” Iravis nodded as she listened to the advice. Mugi wasn't all too sure what she was a fan of. Back home, she and the other Yuki Onna would make shaved iced and had different syrups to accent. She wasn't sure if there was anything like it, but she especially liked the Blue Rhaspberry flavor, perhaps there was something similar? The menu was something foreign to her so perhaps she should ask. To no one in particular she asked aloud, "Is there anything Rhasberry flavored on here?" She spoke the language well, but not the reading exactly. While the others tried to decide on which flavor of diabetes they wanted, Katie hung back a few feet, thoughts of vengeance swimming about her head. The little green punk was going to get his soon enough. And the pink haired little demon would be next. Not just for the surprise tackle hug. That was annoying enough, but she was going to buy Katie off with food. But she never said that Katie would have to walk for it. Strike two, demon slut. "Heeeeey, get me something strawberry, yeah? Thanks." She called out before returning to her revenge fantasies. What? She's a simple chick. “Alrighty…two strawberry cakes, a raspberry ice-cream cake and a chocolate ice-cream cake! Go take a sit, I’ll go order everything.” The demon then bounded off towards the counter, leaving the others to find a table themselves. After waiting in line for a minute or two, she finally got to order. Iravis moved to pick a table while the hellion waited to finish her order, hesitating upon seeing the chair for just a moment and closing her eyes as she lowered herself into it. “Hmm. One strawberry cake, a Strawberry cake with a good bit of icing and put cherries on it. Hmm…Rhapsberry ice cream cake, and a Chocolate ice cream cake for me! Extra chocolate sprinkles on it. Put a strawberry on it, too, alrighty? Thank you!~” After paying for it, the demon then waiting for their orders to be finished before returning to the table the others had found. Mugi followed Iravis to the table she picked and sat in one of the chairs before looking between the one that scared her and the other girl. At this point she couldn't even recall their names, aside from the fact that she read them in the dorm assignment. As the horned one returned to the table she raised a question to the other two. "I know your names from the Dorm Assignment paper, but proper introductions are much better. My name is Mugi Yukimura, a Yuki-Onna. The surname is just one used by everyone in the village on the occasion that one is needed. So please feel free to call me Mugi." She gave a small smile as she looked at each of the other girls. "Would you all introduce yourselves?" The goddess spoke next, eager to get her portion over with. "A polite, peaceful introduction is indeed worthwhile. Iravis Ustrina is what I am known by." Katie didn't miss a beat. She picked up immediately where Red left off, giving a quick wave before speaking. "Just call me Katie." She looked over at the last girl in the group. So she had to be... “Lyssa Nemorienne! Don’t ask. Some old demon clan name or something.” Lyssa replied, not missing a beat herself as she introduced herself. She had impeccable balance, bringing all four of the cakes at once on multiple saucers. With surprising dexterity, she dropped one plate off in front of Mugi, one plate in front of Iraivs, and one plate in front of Katie. With one last one in hand, she took a seat next to Mugi, quickly taking a fork and biting into the medium sized cake that she had ordered. The demon seemed to shiver with slight delight as the chocolatey goodness passed her lips. “So, nice to meet all of ya!~” She cheerily finished. Mugi was glad they all introduced themselves. Katie and Iravis both seemed to be rather. . . Distant. Everyone was mostly together back home in the village so it was almost weirder to not talk to someone at least once every few days. Katie particularly seemed to want nothing to do with them. "Well, I'm glad we are all in the same room together. It reminds me greatly of with how close together we are to be. You all have such cute names as well." She finished it off with the cutest smile she could muster. Lyssa aside, Mugi was expecting the other two to be a little embarrased or confused. She just wanted them all to get along with each other, whatever it took. Iravis at this point was satisfied that Little Roux hadn't come out so far, so she gave a slight nod towards Mugi. "The same to you, Mugi Yukimura." Her cheeks flushed slightly as she thought about the compliment, but the red haired teenager was much more focused on the cake than anything else at this point. Seeing the color of the strawberry cake, the goddess pushed out a strand of her hair to compare the color of the two. When you don't know, match colors I guess. The goddess rolled her eyes at such an elementry form of decision making, looking at Lyssa for a moment. "... Interesting ..." Katie shrugged. Cute names? Really thrilling conversation, that. The girl had never been the biggest fan of small talk, but one had to play the game sometimes. Even if it killed her on the inside. "Cute names, eh? I suppose. Can't say that I've met a Mugi before." she mused. Katie slid her eyes over to the redhead. Time to do some digging. "Or an Iravis? I dunno. I still think Red suits ya better, doc. Or, what'd that card say? Roux? Yeah. What was up with that, anyway?" the girl muttered, pausing to try a bit of the cake. It wasn't too bad. Mugi couldn't help but smile since the two actually ended up talking, complimented her back as well. "Arigato," She giggled slightly before taking a bite of her ice cream cake. After that bite, she understood why Lyssa would have been so insistent on it earlier. "This is a wonderful desert option that I've never had at my Village before!" She pulled on Lyssa's arm and babbled on a bit of how good it was. “Ehehe, it’s good, isn’t it?~” Lyssa replied to Mugi, not caring at all about the other girls cold touch. “I know good cakes when I see them.” Lyssa simply continued to eat the cake in front of her. As the girls on the other side of the table had a friendly conversation about the cake, the Goddess looked to her right to converse with the teleporter, an angry look appearing in her eyes as Katie mentioned both her pet names. It was clear both of them seemed to view small talk more of as a means to an ends than anything else. "If I grant you an explanation, I expect you to call me by the name I gave you." This was obviously an offer for a trade. One of Katie's eyebrows launched up. She hadn't expected to see such...well...anger flash over the other girl's face. She knew of other redheads that hated being called that, it was pretty cliche after all, but this was next level. Katie might as well kicked her kitten or something. Interesting. The teleporter fell back into her smiling mask and looked past their little group, at the workers behind the counters going about their day. "Weeell, hey, that sounds fair to me. Hit me with it, Iraaavis" she replied, stretching out the girl's name. She mindlessly stabbed a fork at her own cake. She had to admit, she was a little curious as to why the girl was getting all worked up over a name. No...that wasn't it...curiosity wasn't the right feeling. She honestly, couldn't care less. But the girl seemed uncomfortable and THAT was something Katie could feed off. She'd play ball and use the silly name for now...especially if she was going to get ammo for the future. Uh oh. Something was obviously going on here. Katie was cooking up…something. She didn’t know what, but she was pretty sure she was up to something. Lyssa took a bite of the cake, narrowing her eyes at Katie suspiciously for a moment, before looking back over to Mugi. “Hey hey, wanna try mine?” The demon asked. Ignoring the other two's small talk, the Goddess fufilled her end of the bargain. She was a little irritated at Katie's disrespect, but it wouldn't be wise to allow her wrath to get out of hand so quickly. "The headmistress believes herself to be my mother, and gave me that title several years ago ..." A few moments passes as Iravis decided how to finish her story. "... I am too far in debt to correct her, but such a childish title irritates me." Despite their recent argument, even the most irrational person would admit that the red haired girl owed the headmistress a lot if they were given more details. Still, that wasn't part of the bargain. Wow. Just...wow. That was it? Just a fucking pet name used by her mo- "Whoa-whoa-wait...Yer mom's Headmistress Fiore? Why would the head honcho's little girl be stuck slumming it with us?" Katie followed up, intrigued. This was fucking perfect. If her roommate was the Headmistress' 'Little Roux', then... If Katie didn't have a shit-eating grin before, she did now. She couldn't have asked for a better situation. The Headmistress had been on the list for quite some time, but Katie couldn't figure out a good way to get to her. But now... Now she had a direct line to the woman's heart: her 'child' or whatever that whole situation was. She'd have to play things a bit differently now. No more being a complete bitch to these girls. Not that she had any love for them, but her dislike of her freakish roommates paled in comparison to her loathing of the Headmistress. Had she really done anything to Katie? No. But she was in charge. She was 'The Man.' And that was reason enough. Mugi nodded in response to the demon's question. "Sure, I'm always up for new flavors." With a smile, the Yuki-Onna opened her mouth up, expecting the demon to feed her. The elder mentioned once that close friends in the west fed each other, perhaps if the demon fed her, that would mean they're good friends? Lyssa made a small, happy sounding squeal, obviously enjoying this. “Never had chocolate before?” She asked curiously as she stuck her fork into the cake, still not caring that the Yuki-onna was still clinging to her. The demon then brought the fork to the girl and waited for her to eat it. Mugi bit down on what she was offered and attempted to talk while chew, though remembering it was quite difficult to do that so she chewed the food down and then spoke, "of course I've had chocolate before, just not in ice cream cake." She then took of a piece of her own and pointed it at the demon. "Try it." Well, she wasn’t going to say no to a cute girl offering her cake! Lyssa said nothing, only chomped down on the raspberry cake. A smile formed on her lips as she did so. She didn’t really have much of a thing for raspberries herself, but well, it was delicious. Sweets were sweets, though, and they were all delicious. “Ehe, this is delicious!” The demon giggled, mouth still full of cake before swallowing. She had never tasted something quite like this before. She might actually have to order something like it more often. The demon, then proceeded, to hug the girl once again. Katie glanced over to the other two girls that were...well...straight-up flirting with one another. Ooookaaaay then. She was never a big fan of PDA. Like, seriously, just get a room. Preferably one Katie wouldn't have to sleep in later. Ugh. She then returned her attention to Iravis. Iravis rolled her eyes as the other two girls flirted with each other. Her conversation with Katie was much, much more interesting however. The Goddess promplty discovered the other woman was planning something with her overly large grin. "There was a disagreement. And her sentiments about parentage aren't returned equally ..." A single finger went over her bottom lip as she looked to the sky. "... so hypothetically if a fiend materialized in such a way as to pester her, they would catch my interest as an ally ..." Who just dropped a bombshell. So, all isn't well in Roswell, eh? Katie nodded. If little red riding hood here wasn't the biggest fan of the headmistress either, then she might be useful. If nothing else, Katie would have options. Still, there was the chance that the girl was just trying to fuck with her. Or maybe Fiore suspected something was up and sent her girl to investigate. She'd have to play things delicately. "Tsk tsk tsk. Wanting to screw over yer own Moms? That's cold girl." she replied as she cut another piece of her cake. "But hell, who am I to judge? My brothers and I were little hellions if we didn't get our way. Almost drove our poor Mama into the looney bin." She brought a piece of the strawberry cake to her mouth and popped it in. Still not too bad. "But, Mugi's right, yeah? If we're stuck being roommates this year, we might as well make the most of it. And if you need a 'fiend' to go after yer Moms with ya, well, I mean, I'd do that for a new friend. How about you lovebirds?" Katie called over to the other girls with a chuckle. She felt satisfied, but it didn't show. This could be a golden opportunity. If she had to stick with a couple losers to make it happen, so be it. "Lovebirds?" Now, of all things Mugi knew she wasn't a bird so it must have been just a figure of speech. She broke it down in her head and assumed it must be about people being together in one of those relationships. Not that she cared either way because the different flavors of Ice Cream Cake tasted so good anyhow. Truthfully, she'd ask the other two if she could try a bit of theirs for a bit of hers but they really didn't seem too friendly over all. "We just feel like close friends to me. Maybe I'm in a different train of thought than what I've been told of westerners?" She questioned to Lyssa, who's been the only one to really interact with her. “Yep yep, just friends.” Lyssa replied, finally releasing Mugi from that hug, though she gave her a rather mischievous grin. “Well, unless you want to be more.” What that meant, she didn’t elaborate on, before turning to Katie and Iravis. “Hehe, well we’re roommates so that automatically makes us friends, right?” Lyssa replied. At least, they should attempt to get along anyways. Katie seemed like a bit of a troublemaker, but she liked getting into trouble herself so she couldn’t say. Iravis was warm and cuddly so she couldn’t be a terrible person, either. With the other two girls getting involved the Goddess decided that perhaps it was better to continue the conversation later and decided to follow Katie's cue for now. Upon hearing Lyssa's words, the fire bird gave off a noncommittal nod. "It is wise for people who live together to have a sense of familiarity with the others." If she could though, she would try to get out of this blasted room. For now, Iravis made her best effort to be nice, because she doubted Livia would have mercy at this point. Hmm...well it wasn't EXACTLY the response she was hoping for, but hey, friendship all around worked too. For now. She'd just have to work on Lyssa and Mugi a bit to get them to come around but...well, they seemed simple enough. Katie stabbed at her cake once more, but she just couldn't bring herself to eat another bite. She flashed her cheshire grin to the other girls as she pushed her plate. "Weeelp, I dunno about you guys, but I'm stuffed. And uh..." she started, getting onto her feet and throwing her arms behind her head to stretch. "Ahh...We should probably be heading back, yeah? I'm all for cutting class, but it's probably not a good idea on the first day." “Ehe, why not? I’ve skipped the first day of school at my old school last year.” Lyssa replied to Katie. “I’m not one for school in general, heh.” She somewhat nervously chuckled, but didn’t elaborate much before swiftly finishing the rest of her cake before leaving. She stood up from her chair, about to follow the others out until she noticed that Iravis had yet to even eat a single bite of her cake. Well. She would not let such an insult to the cake deities’ stand! She collected the cake from the table, and asked the people behind the counter for something to take it home in. Afterwards, she swiftly followed the rest of the girls back to the academy.
