Anthony appeared out of the forest next to Zhalia, giving a slight wave. "Hi there, are you looking for someone?" Anthony pressed his hand on his chest and his form changed, morphing back into the trickster Hammond. "Well it may be me. Long story short I need some motivation for everyone else, and you seem to be a good candidate! Why don't we have a little trip together? Here, you don't even need to be awake for it!" Hammond opened up his sleeve and shot out sleeping gas. "You know this thing is very useful. And don't worry, your friends will come after you soon, of course after they deal with my illusions and we'll be long gone before then. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "The Manager looked away from his computer desk and smiled and Hebi came in and jumped on him. "Ah, there you are!" He exclaimed. The Manager's phone ringed but he ignored it, paying attention to his adopted daughter. His brother should be answering for him anyway. "How are you dear?" His work had increased dramatically after the event last year, but he still had lost most of his contacts. There had been no new shipments of humans and he was losing his guests. Fortunately, he still had a large amount of revenue and could keep himself and Hebi afloat for another two hundred years.
Zhalia cursed when she suddenly Anthony appeared beside her as she was trying to catch her breath. She backed away a bit, lifting her hands while he spoke to pull water out of the air and form it into an icy spike to pierce him with. Before she got the chance to fire the formed spike into his abdomen, the sleeping gas hit her like a ton of bricks. She coughed, the spike she created falling to the ground and shattering when she lost control over it. Sleeping gas? The same sleeping gas from the hotel. Crap.., did the manager send this guy to get all the old guests back? She didn't have time to think about it though, as the gas quickly entered her system and caused her to collapse, her vision fading and the world turning black around her. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hebi giggled as she curled up on her father's lap for as much as she still could. She had grown so much in the last year, even though she didn't really realize it much, that she barely fit on her father's lap anymore. 'I'm good daddy.' she smiled brightly. Her father had been so busy with work lately that she barely had time to play with him. She took a lot of time to just wander through the hotel and the land surrounding it, so she wouldn't bother him too much when he seemed too busy. 'Daddy, its so empty here. I'm bored and the guards are boring and my toys are boring and everything's boring.' she exclaimed, rambling slightly. There were so little guests that Hebi had nobody to interact with. 'Can't we go outside again?' she asked with pleading eyes.
