Both famous and infamous for his defense of Meiji, Gen. Tujoki had turned what the invaders thought would be an easy conquest into a long and bloody siege. Graduating the lowest of his class during military training and officer training, Tujoki had shown that he was much better at putting tactics and class lesson into play on the battlefield rather than on paper. Many speculate that this is because of his large gathering of supporters within the Imperial Senate who have been labelled the "warhawks". It can be said that the recent rebuilding and updating of the Imperial Republican Army has been spearheaded by the general from the shadows. Now, Gen. Tujoki is the commander-in-chief of the army and has already begun enact and pushing for several new changes and ideas such as looking into armored cars which the Vornehm used during their assault on our homes to great effect and training aircraft to teach the soon-to-be pilots; enlisting the help of three companies for future design and research on military projects: -- The newly found Hayabusa Corperation, born from a group of University of Meiji Flight Club members, to assist in aviation development and research! -- The legendary Jinsoku Naval Arsenal whose ships fought bravely against the onslaught of western boats and recently formed bond with several western shipbuilders who helped discover more efficient ways of building cruisers! -- The Anzen Heavy Industries, formerly a steel and ironworks, they now seek opportunity in the defense industry and ways to assist their country! Christened the Sa-21 Saito Armored Reconnaissance Car, the owner of Saiyako Motors proudly boasts that it is "the fastest, most maneuverable, and most comfortable military vehicle ever conceived! However, there will be no civilian model I am afraid; this car is strictly a military endeavor." This is mostly attributed to the genuineness that is the engine; a 6-cyl Gasoline Sawajiro SJ/1 aircraft engine that runs at a fine 60 horsepower at higher RPMs. Not only is this in its vanilla form impressive, but after some modifications, engineers at Saiyako improved the efficiency of the engine. Dubbing it the 6-cyl Gasoline Sawajiro SJ/1 "Saito Special", Mr. Saitama said that "with a car like this, it would have been foolish to do anything other than present it as a swift scouting vehicles for our brave men in uniform!" Beyond its outstanding engine and comfortable suspension and steering, the Sa-21 Saito can provide support for soldiers with its water cooled .303 caliber rounds mounted in a turret on the top; an additional machine gun can be stored within the vehicle itself, able to be used by the crew as a back up or secondary weapon or given to infantry units passing by. Some controversy has arisen however due to its similarity with an armored car of Kalpian origins. In an official statement released by the company, they say, "We tried to create a completely unique vehicle, one that would perfectly suit the war of a new age. But no matter how hard we tried, we were drawn back to the Kalpian armored car line. It stood out to us like a radiant beam of perfection and masterful engineering and so we ended up copying it." Experts say that it is not necessarily a bad thing that the Fusan model is similar to that of the Kalpian model, as many of the parts are now interchangeable between the vehicles of the two nations making repairs and maintenance much easier. After many long hours of libration and talks, Tadokana walked out to meet cameras and reporters stating that, "the great nation of Sessauan is willing to build two destroyer warships complete with their own advanced torpedo tubes at 3 million Fusan Yen a piece, set to be finished in 1922. Perhaps we may use these ships to advance our own domestically built ships in the future." A spokesman said that "We have put forth out best efforts into the creation of these training aircraft, but we make no certainty that there will not be casualties in the exploration of this new art as the flying schools of other nations have shown up. But we believe we as Fusans must take the risks in order to progress into the new age of warfare. For generations man has fought on sea and ground, but now it is time to take to the skies and prove to the heavens who the strongest are in the clouds. And we pledge to support Fuso's climb to the top of the divine stair for as long as it takes!" However, the major draw back to the increase is the lack of vehicles in which to train these new, brave, courageous sky warriors. Thus, the Senate sent out a letter to the young Republic of Boletaria for some of their own training aircraft for Fusan use. The deal is currently at 600k per aircraft for 20 trainers coming out to a 12 million total expenditure for Fuso with some senators opting to throw in an additional 10k per aircraft as a sign of friendship and good intentions.
